My guess is that they had "pledged" donations that they counted, and since checks usually take about a week to clear they probably all cleared on April 30th.

Doesn't it seem a bit odd to you though that a week later - after things had slowed down - a huge sum came in? Makes me think it was the kind of 'end of the month' thing as dgc360 pointed out. Maybe checks clearing or pledged donations that didn't go through. Unless she donated it to herself at the end of the month; but all I can find is reports of a $6.4 million loan in April from dubious blogs.

I don't get the huge bump on April 30. Did that include the loan she gave herself or did something else happen on the 29th?

No, yours is significantly "stupider." Women make up roughly 50% of the US population. Blacks are approximately 12%. So black people voting for Obama because he's black are somehow outnumbering the number of women voting for Hillary because she's female? Without her huge support from women (half the population) and racist whites, Hillary would... well, she'd still be farking in this because her ego refuses to let her admit defeat.
