lol. O'rly freaked out tonight about that. Shouting at the camera about how bad NBC is and how biased they are. But the real irony came when he screamed that he'd never work for a news organization that tried to push an agenda.

To be fair to Mr. Talkinghead, I always found it curious that NBC's Mr. Talkinghead would constantly rant about the apparent bias of his competitor when he himself is unashamedly bias. I think they should just hold a match in the Thunderdome and be done with it.

That was Bill'o's original tactic. He didn't have enough control to keep it up. To this day, though, he won't mention Al Franken by name on either of his shows. I wonder if he will if he becomes Senator Franken.

Matthews is still snorting Clinton's crack and claiming that her "wins" in West Virginia and Kentucky prove that she can still win the nomination. Everytime he says that everyone on the panel except either a Clinton supporter or Pat/Scarbourough look at him as if he's grown a second head. He's not alone with that either as both Abrams and Gregory like pandering to the "Clinton's still got a chance! She's fighting and taking it all the way!" segment of Retardville, USA. No, I meant that it's "Not News". Think about it: it's a journalist writing a story about what another journalist thinks about a new book. The whole thing just seemed pointless to me.

P.S. I actually had no idea who Chris Matthews was, or whether or not he was conservative -- that really wasn't the point, I promise.

Nestea Plunge: BravadoGT: Could Matthews and MSNBC be any farther up Obama's ass?

MATTHEWS: What's the importance of the president's amazing display of leadership tonight?

------------------------------------------------------------------

MATTHEWS: Let me ask you, Bob Dornan, you were a congressman all those years. Here's a president who's really nonverbal. He's like Eisenhower. He looks great in a military uniform. He looks great in that cowboy costume he wears when he goes West. I remember him standing at that fence with Colin Powell. Was [that] the best picture in the 2000 campaign?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

MATTHEWS: He looks for real. What is it about the commander in chief role, the hat that he does wear, that makes him -- I mean, he seems like -- he didn't fight in a war, but he looks like he does.

------------------------------------------------------------------

MATTHEWS: We're proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who's physical, who's not a complicated guy like [former President Bill] Clinton or even like [former Democratic presidential candidates Michael] Dukakis or [Walter] Mondale, all those guys, [George] McGovern. They want a guy who's president. Women like a guy who's president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It's simple. We're not like the Brits. We don't want an indoor prime minister type, or the Danes or the Dutch or the Italians, or a [Russian Federation President Vladimir] Putin. Can you imagine Putin getting elected here? We want a guy as president.

May 1, 2003, MSNBC

So naturally, if I were to dig up a 5 year old quote from O'Reilly praising Hillary, or Obama, or Ted Kennedy, or some other liberal icon-that would similarly convince you that he's not pushing a conservative agenda.

Right?

It's the "If we ignore Iraq we risk a mushroom cloud" thing. He's using language to lead folks to that conclusion without ever out and out saying it himself. Chances are Alter has gotten on his case about the whole "ignoring reality" thing so he's having to be more subtle about his cheerleading.

Another incredibly inept analogy from Tweety.

McClellan went to DC as a Bush loyalist and toed the line, assisting in the propaganda, enabling the attack of America by the BushBots.

When it became obvious to everyone that Bush and his cronies are a bunch of lying idiots who have presided over the biggest disasters in U.S. history he whines that they farked up.

tweety is a RW loser
