He should've just inked a deal with Ross, since that's where most of these celebrity clothing lines end up eventually.

My clothes are at Sears
Rockin my pants and puttin Penny's in fear..."

Maybe they should have thought of this when LL was relevant.

As someone who just went on a shopping spree at Marshall's and Burlington coat factory, I resemble that remark.

But... but there's more for your life at Sears!

Dr.Knockboots [TotalFark] 2008-05-28 12:29:25 PM
There's already enough urban streetwear.
Dear Uncle L (I call him that cuz I'm old skool.. whatever) and all other rappers/urban streetwear developers-

Instead of making more streetwear for kids to look like thugs in..
make more dressy clothes. Nice pants, decent shirts.. start a new trend.

Kanye West sort of did this, where he wore a lot of collared shirts that looked decent. Of course he still had some wild outfits.. but i did appreciate him being dressed "well" more often than not.

It's jinglin baby

I still can't believe he was going to be Dolemite.

Sean John tends to be the classiest out of the group. I have a few long sleeved, classy Sean John shirts. Though most of the time I'm an Ecko brand whore.

Well, in the song lyrics, and I'm quoting:

"He'll rip you off, he'll take your money,
make you work for free.
Though you might scoff,
it isn't funny, he's the devil, see.
"Kill Whitey."

How can you listen to that and think...

we talking about killing all white people?

We was talking about one specific Whitey.

Whitey Dilucca. Our ex-manager.
He ripped us off for $.

Right, and Whitey Dilucca
wasn't even white. He was...

He was Italian. He was one of them
olive-complected motherfarkers.

Don't forget K&G! I wander my white ass in there from time to time to check the selection of big & tall sizes, and 30 minutes later, I emerge with bags full of urban wear by the likes of Phat Farm, Koncrete, Girbaud, and others.

Thank goodness the trend in hip-hop styles still runs to oversize clothes, because they fit my 6'6" frame and larger-than-I'd-like waist perfectly, and for a reasonable price. No doubt I look like a tool, but what can you do.

Oddly enough, the first movie listed under "Related Titles" is:
The Gun In Betty Lou's Handbag (1992) A shy librarian attempts to escape her boring life and lackluster marriage to a police detective by recovering a murder weapon and claiming she's responsible for the deed.

I'm waiting for little plastic figures, with no small parts for young thugs to choke on, of rappers to start showing up in Happy Meals nationwide. They'll be little plastic "bling" toys and 9mm pistol toys so you can be thuggin' and pimpin' at Mc D's. For schizzle, my nizzle.

Yes, we all know that having lots of money automatically makes someone better than the rest of us, no matter how it is obtained.

Thank you for making this logical argument. Why, just the other day I was remarking to some fellow Farkers about how what a great guy this drug lord was. They said "but he sells drugs". I said, "So what, dumbass? The guy is RICH !$!$!$!$! You're just jealous douche bags!".

Your comments make it sound as though you think anything prior to this enterprise for Mr. Cool J could be mistaken as anything else?

I'm confused.

Rocawear has some nice dress shirts and their jeans are nice. I usually only wear Sean John hoodies or t-shirts, never really their dress shirts.

But yeah, the rest of the time I'm in Ecko.

Reminds me of the Monkees second album. The label had them dress in the latest JC Penny fashions for the cover. Mike Nesmith (the one with talent) was pissed.
