Up here, most motorcycle gangs are pretty much assumed (usually correctly) to be nothing more than organized crime syndicates. Aside from the penile-challenged Hells Angels, there's also the Pagans, Outlaws MC, and Bandidos.

We had a good streak there for a while back in the late 90's and early 2000's where a bunch of them were killing each other off, but they've since started slacking a bit. Pity.

The articles and comments went on about how the Hells Angels wouldn't let these butt-hurting Bandidos get in on their illicit trade (drugs, mostly, very lucrative here right now to be a drug peddler) and would result in massive casualties. Some people did die, but it wasn't nearly as bad as reported.


Also, this security breach stuff should have been dealt with a long time ago, instead the government got all up in the opposition's shiat about it and made it a bigger news story than it had to be.

I don't think so. The Liberals have had a tough time fundraising since the Adscam scandal, and that wouldn't have changed even if someone else had won the leadership.

The opposition will pull the plug on Harper's government when they've rebuilt their warchests -- this summer or fall maybe. That's the only reason Harper is still PM.

This is only Wednesday nights at the local Republican Party meetings.

Actually, he rocked at Industry, and until very recently, he was pretty good in Foreign Affairs. He didn't pull silly stunts with the US Sec. of State like MacKay, and there are far, far less capable people in cabinet who for the life of me I can't understand being assigned to the front benches (looking at you, Helena Guergis), and he's now going to be a backbencher because of some chick. Even by Couillard's own account, the documents were not seen by anyone besides Bernier, not even her. So, yeah, sad about Bernier because it's a waste.

Not surprised in the least that it wasn't dealt with a long time ago. Harper's method of playing defence seems to be to refuse to admit any sort mistake, no matter how minor, and go on the offensive -- and this time it backfired spectacularly.

There are specific procedures to be followed when handling classified documents. These procedures do not include leaving them at a woman that has and may still have ties to organized crimes place.

Funny, I feel the exact same way about the Liberals and the NDP. 2 Billion of my money on a gun registry I didn't give a shiat about certainly qualifies. If either were in power right now you would be paying a lot more tax and would recieve all of the exact same services that you are now. Also our military would be practically gone if the NDP were elected and we would be paying $2+ per Litre of gas if that tool Dion had his way.
