After watching a few of his videos I have to say he's not that bad. Sure he's annoying but he really knows his stuff which is way more annoying and far less entertaining.

Rollins feels the same, just check out his face after he hears the 2nd to last question.

His annoying-to-comedic-payoff ratio is pretty low, so that makes him fairly annoying. If the interviewees aren't "in" on the joke, then it's just embarrassing for Nard-viette: and it wastes the time of people who are doing actual work, not trying to make a name for themselves pretending to be that unwanted high school acquaintance accidentally hopped up on speed.

Yeah, not his best example in this video, but often the bands are visibly surprised by the information he's dug up on them.

and as much as i enjoy his interviews, I cringe everytime he does his signoff bit.

I love his interviews! He did one with Gene Simmons from KISS and flat-out asked him why they had Tommy Thayer dressed up like Ace Frehley on KISS's recent tour. Gene's expression was hilarious, and he started reciting the tired old answer that Paul Stanley usually says.

I've hung out with Nardwuar a few times socially, through mutual friends. He's quite shy initially, until he gets going then he's pretty much the same as his tv personna. It might be a schtick but it's sincere. Nice guy, though. A bit odd, but nice.

He played with his band in my hometown once, gave me a record where the bside was him asking gorbechev what size pants he wore at a press conference. Their opening band was just the band wearing white hoods. They called themselves the skablins. I cant remember the headlining band name.

Just came to say I love Peter Murphy. I could listen to him talk for hours, if it weren't for that annoying jackass asking him questions.
