If you haven't been involved in hog slaughtering, you're not a man.

hudef, that's just about as accurate as the actual headline, but judging from the thread, the submitter isn't the only one who didn't read the article.

I only really skimmed the article but the talk of the Rhode Island Reds made me remember when we raised chickens. In a little town called Burlingame. Thats on the San Francisco peninsula, about 10mins away from the city. Urban farmers I guess. We're lucky we never got reported but then again we had two Asian neighbors who did their own funky things in the name of home grown (or in one case, home fermented) food.

A good headline will entice readers to rtfa. You're right, I could not be bothered. But it is legitimate to respond to a headline alone.

/still won't rtfa

I've been meaning to try my hand at this. Also can I just go to the local nursery to pick up pig seed, or should I look around online and order some more exotic pig seeds?

Whatever seed you choose, remember that germination is the most important step. Pig seeds require 48 hour germination iside your rectum. Let me know how the pig farming works out for you.

The guy at the store said the same thing. I thought he has having a laugh, but I guess he was right. Thanks.
