Golf clap for subby. This isn't going away anytime soon.

Still, as the article pointed out, with Latinos, Obama will have a tough sell. It will be weather or not they will be wanting to vote along the party lines or not.

As a blue-collar, hispanic, jewish woman, I really don't see what all these people have against Obama. Much less do I see what they have in favor of Clinton.

And I forgot to mention I'm also older than dirt.

They are stupid like most Americans, and are voting for the one with the popular name. To many people, just having the last name Clinton is enough to be president. I'm sure even George Clinton would do really good in the primaries. It would be one nation under a groove, getting down just for the funk of it. I'd actually be down for that, and I'm sure the guy would legalize marijuana and probably LSD.

I hate thinking this way, but then I realize there's a reason CNN, MSNBC, FOX, etc. are still in business.

Obama has some over-sized ego.

Bush was not talking about him in Israel

Hillary was not talking about him with RFK reference

McCain was not talking about him when quoted "get off my lawn"

You know, TheJoe03, I'd vote for George Clinton, but only if Bootsy wasn't running.

The Clintons and the word assassinated have a lot in common.

For starters, they're both comprised of two "ass"-es.

FeedTheCollapse 2008-05-25 06:02:21 PM
that's okay, she can find another one hanging around the Costco for cheap.

Oh you're soo right, cause Bush was clearly talking about Che when he made his statement. Hillary is clearly running against someone not named Senator Obama. And McCain is most likely still talking to his VC handlers.

Hell, whites are still waiting for Nat Turner to raise his zombie marauders and slit their damn throats. I wouldn't be surprise to hear that Ronnie Raygun is guarding the gates of Heaven. He's protecting us from there, so he doesn't have to come down to Earth to do it.

SomeoneDumb 2008-05-25 06:30:27 PM
Now if only they'd talk some sense into *my* congressional rep. She's still on the Hillary train, even though Obama won our district by over two to one.

Do some of them not?

Well, if you're going to snatch a Hillary defector, that's about as good as you can get. She did well among Hispanics, so at least that part of her campaign was working. This is a good pickup; should help solidify New Mexico.

And if Obama ultimately picks Napolitano, Arizona becomes a hot spot.

Mod discretion. Sometimes it's almost immediate, sometimes the mods put it off until the next day.

Traditionally Republican states definitely in play with Obama in the race:
Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, New Hampshire, possibly Arizona, possibly Kansas

Swing States more likely to go Democrat with Obama in the race:
New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Ohio

Places where Obama might do surprisingly well:
Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Nevada, Montana, Maine

Places where McCain might do surprisingly well or pick up new Republican voters:
Arkansas

...we might be looking at a landslide depending on how things develop June-August.

I would say Georgia and SC have no chance... except now Bob Barr is in the race, and he could peel off a lot of McCain voters in the deep south.

fark yeah!

I think this is part of the California 40, a group of superdels who have threatened to jump ship one-by-one unless Clinton drops out.

Clintonistas, remember to swim clear once the ship goes under or you'll be sucked down with it.

Gosling: Well, if you're going to snatch a Hillary defector, that's about as good as you can get.

Please please PLEASE don't say "snatch" and "Hillary" together in the same sentence. Some of us are trying to eat dinner right now!

Mentat: Clintonistas, remember to swim clear once the ship goes under or you'll be sucked down with it. Enjoy the ride!

That looks better.

If they're dumb enough to be on the ship by now, they deserve the iceberg they get. Clinton supporters that still are don't need to be around anymore!

Rodeodoc 2008-05-25 08:01:49 PM
There was a very small article in our paper today, page 7, mixed in with the non-news, about Obama's response to Hillary's RFK comment.
I hadn't seen a lot of coverage of that. Obama blessed Hillary and granted her extreme unction based on the fact that "she was over tired from campaigning."

Brilliant. In one sentence, he took the high road by forgiving her, and yet still stuck it to her by suggesting that she doesn't have what it takes to run in this man's campaign.

jjorsett 2008-05-25 08:04:10 PM
The time to worry is when the co-chair of her Caucasian Council bails out.

He does seem to have a perpetual list of zingy one-liners for whenever he needs them.
