It looks like no matter what happens, the Dems end up with a candidate limping across the finish line.

Make sure you take all of the momentum into November...

One thing this primary has not lacked is momentum. I have never seem so much spectacular momentum. If this election gets anymore momentum Mccain will be washed up by mid August. He will never be able to make back all the air time he lost while the dems were hogging the spot light.

The former president also said his wife, if elected, would turn around the nation's ailing economy, end the war in Iraq and enact universal health care.

Also, 100 chickens in every pot and 10 cars in every garage. 4,000 acres and 100 mules for everyone! Unicorns and candy farts!

Meh. It has gotten millions of new Democrats to register. That will pay off this fall.

And at least one registered Republican (me) to become a registered independent. I'm am so fed up with the Republic Party's kowtowing to the religious wrong and callous disregard for the US Constitution that I had to do something. I'll not vote for Doctor Clinton or Captain McCain. I'll vote for Senator Obama or someone else this Fall.

Obama is favored to win the last two primaries, so if he does I don't think he will really be limping. Yes, he lost big in KY and WV, but he won big in Oregon and NC.

Hillary- 246

Bill's gonna be in a town of about 1700 in a few hours pandering to the injuns. I live about an hour from there and know the town very well, and I can't imagine him getting more than a couple hundred people to show up. I kinda want to go just because I would have a better chance of talking to him. By contrast, I went to the Obama rally in Sioux Falls last Friday and he filled the arena which seats about 7,000. It was quite a sight. I was also in Sioux Falls a couple days ago when Hillary was being a retard. We are excited that for the first time in several elections, our primary may actually get noticed.

I'm from Mississippi, so I understand that bit about being noticed, but I think my original point stands. Obama is filling arenas and the former president is stumping to a few hundred... nobody this side of Hillaryis44 can fail to see that the wheels have come off.

Is there any reasonable polling in either SoDak or MT? Haven't seen it. It should be interesting. All Obama's other Plains/Mountain wins, except Utah, have been in caucuses, not primaries. All the Democratic names in SoDak (Daschle, Johnson, Herseth) are big behind Obama. The Montana ones (Tester, Baucus, and Schweitzer) have stayed on the sidelines.

Not that I think Obama will lose, but I'm worried that he'll end on a down note.

Thanks for posting that. It really puts it into context. Basically Team Hillary has thirty seconds on the clock, needs a touchdown, a two-point conversion, followed by an onside kick recovered for a touchdown, and another two-point conversion just to tie the game and force it into overtime.

So, the Democrat Super Delegates will see how divided the Party is by Hillary, and they will decide to throw their support behind her divisiveness.

Huh.

Yeah, no, that doesn't have a ton of logic behind it, Bill.

I've always heard about how politically "smart" the Clintons are, and how "tough" she is, but I'm not seeing much evidence of either.

You seem to have taken my little dig for more personally than any rational person would? Why is this? Do you really have that much pride in Montana, or that much hatred for New England?

Or is it something else? Could it be because you see your views widely mocked when not long ago they were widely held and defended nationally? I know it must be hard to see them go from that to being shown they are a failure and people are not happy with the results that they have tendered.

Not a concern troll. Concern for a troll.

We know the Republicans would rather run against Hillary in order to draw the anti-Clintonites, who may not vote if she is not in the race. Is it possible Democratic party leaders are trying to turn Clinton haters into Obama supporters by prolonging this campaign(the enemy of my enemy is my friend)?

I haven't found much for polling in SoDak except Link (new window) but word on the street is that it's going to Obama. The western half of SD is Mountain Time so the poll results might come in about the same time as MT. If he doesn't win on a high note on June 3, he probably will on June 4th.
