Are they the same man?

Ask yourself, have you ever seen them in the same photo?

Oh, yeah.

That's right.

I bet Bush just doesn't want to risk being photographed next to McCain's illegitimate black daughter.

During Bush's three-day trip, he is also holding official presidential events at a Mesa, Ariz., cable company on Tuesday

I am glad I'm footing the bill for this important presidential event.

SushiJoe [TotalFark] 2008-05-23 01:36:53 PM
why would you want the president with the lowest approval rating in history asking people to vote for you?

2wolves 2008-05-23 01:43:50 PM
Senator McCain, just get a good case of leprosy and that would be considered a better plan than this.

SushiJoe: why would you want the president with the lowest approval rating in history asking people to vote for you?

Because there are still lots and lots of Americans who really really want Armageddon, but who aren't completely sold on McCain as the best man to bring it about.

I have a sneaking suspicion that his health plan wouldn't cover leprosy.

SushiJoe: why would you want the president with the lowest approval rating in history asking people to vote for you?

He doesn't necessarily want Bush to ask people to vote for him. He wants Bush to ask people to fund his campaign.

A vote for McCain is a vote saying that when you vote an idiot is voting.

Headso 2008-05-23 02:16:30 PM
I think the Bush pledge speach goes something like this..

"guys! guys! he'll sell the country up the river for the benefit of the top 1% just like I did! Don't worry, just give up the dough! they don't call him 'McSame' for nothin!"

Headso 2008-05-23 02:17:07 PM
I guess that would be a speech, not a speach...

That's asinine, and no way to mend the divisiveness in our political discourse. But it's also just an insult and so it's missing a hook.

Not quite, fund raising is something the people who wanted him in office in '00 are very good at, but they are not getting behind McCain.

I am glad that the tax money I pay to fly the prez and his entourage around the country are contributing to McCain's election efforts.

Bob16 2008-05-23 02:34:16 PM
So the guy that wants to give us a 3rd Bush term has to make sure he isn't seen with Bush.

I don't know about you guys but I'm still running across a lot of "smart" cons who look at news like that conclude McCain can't lose.

Skleenar 2008-05-23 02:35:58 PM
Why are we sniping at each other like this? There are serious issues at stake in this election, and serious differences between the candidates. And we will argue about them, as we should. But it should remain an argument among friends; each of us struggling to hear our conscience, and heed its demands; each of us, despite our differences, united in our great cause, and respectful of the goodness in each other.

Hilarious. Right now the GOP would rather acknowledge support from the gay porn industry than the sitting president.

Choose wisely, America.

They'll vote for him no matter what though. My gf's mom is "very affraid" of Obama. Yes, she forwards emails and believes them to be true too. Who wants to start some email forwards about McCain and see if they get traction?

Aren't those the ones that don't actually learn about the candidates, just go into the voting booth and push whatever button has an (R) next to it?

I give it a 9/10, because it was good, but only good enough that I almost responded. An actual response, then facepalming in acknowledgement after you've already hit "Add Comment", is the only true 10/10.

That was my thought too, but I guess not. Then again this is a lady who thinks gay people have an agenda, other than the meme of "go to work, go home, eat dinner, watch tv, go to bed, rinse, repeat."

Bigoted fears never get settled. The whole point of the bigotry is that it assumes facts that aren't there. Present the person with facts conflicting their ideas, and they don't care, because they were never rational ideas to begin with. You can't reason with an unreasonable person.
