Paulina who?

This song brings back a flood of memories from when I was 5 and 6 yeasrs old. Those were some interesting times for me, both melancholy and euphoric in equal amounts.

Still a terrific pop song.

"If individual talent makes a band, wouldn't Ric Ocasek have had a wonderful solo career." - Tina Weymouth

I always preferred this song.
You Might Think (^)
Admit it, it rocks.

Jackie was another good song on that album. I still think Heartbeat City and Shake it Up was their finest work.

Magic is a great song.

/going to put the greatest hits CD in the car this week to listen to on the way to work

I still remember hearing "Just What I Needed" back in 1978. I thought both the song and the band would be the next big thing.

I liked The Cars. Good pop music when pop music was in flux.

I've always been partial to "You're all I've got tonight" and "Dangerous Type," but of course "Since You're Gone" and "I'm Not the One" will be remembered and replayed for a long time. And "Drive," might just be the most beautiful pop song ever written.

For your cars guilty pleasures songs, you should go with "You are the Girl" and "Strap me In," which are extremely cheesy both lyrically and musically, but they've got cool melodies, and damnit, I'm only human!

You can tell this album was pigeonholed between Pyromania and Hysteria. Mutt Lange is all over this song.
