You answered your own question, actually. They think that when sin knocks at your door, it's nearly impossible *not* to answer. Put another way, you can't sell anyone anything unless they really, really, REALLY want to buy it. Why don't the states with Gay marriage bans have tax exemptions for Gay couples? Since they don't have equal protection under the law they shouldn't have to pay the state that discriminates against them.

My view of the situation is that I don't care at all if gays can marry, but I personally won't fight for it or vote for it, cause I honestly can give a shiat either way. There's more weed smokers out there, so why don't we legalize weed first, I'd be down to vote for that! It's also probably more important too, since the War on Drugs harms the country more than gays not being able to marry. Just my 2 cents.

Gay unions are the least of California's worries. I could care less what the Gays do. I want my State elected officials to stop spending money like drunken whores.
