I'm not a Matthews fan at all, but that was just ridiculous. On one hand he could have just cut the guy's mic, but watching the incredulous look on his face as this clown kept spinning was priceless.

I think Matthews just single-handedly disarmed the stupid appeasement analogy.

The tragedy here isn't that he didn't have a grasp of the reference that pleased him so much, it's that success can come to those for whom facts are secondary if not outright inconveniences.

But a few troops can and will be sacrificed willingly, for this is a spearhead: a full on and aggressive, if hastily improvised, push at the presumptive Democratic candidate. Conservative think tanks, political, and media echo chamber is busily spinning up a whole theory of "appeasement" in order to justify linking Obama to people like Chamberlain, with a big old side helping of "no land for peace" thrown in for good measure. I expect to be hearing more of it in the coming days, at least if Epic Fail President hasn't sunk that ship, too.

When this clown came on, I FFwd through him once started yelling, which was about five seconds in. Now, after seeing this, I went back and played it.
