I bought 'Love' on vinyl in '85, my first Cult record. I still think it was their best effort.

Wild Flower is still my favorite song by The Cult. Electric barely beats out Love for best.

The instant I saw the headline, "Fire Woman" shot into my head like a bullet.

/I listened to "She Sells Sanctuary" so much when I was playing Gran Turismo 2 eight years ago. It deserves a place in every "Greatest Rock Songs" list.

I pretty much totally agree, except I'd put "Electric" before "Sonic Temple."

While not terribly good, I think that "The Cult" and "Beyond Good and Evil" are a bit underrated. I haven't heard the new disc yet, except for bits and pieces. Seems better than these two though, I'd have to say.

I used to have a tape of the Southern Death Cult. That was some interesting stuff. I want to get a hold of that again ...

This.
It always bothered me how brainlessly they ripped off AC/DC on Electric. Thanks a lot, Mr. Def Jam.
