I can already feel the Crazy Rhythms. Yes!

I dug 'em back in the 80s, but a few months ago I threw Crazy Rhythms on and it didn't seem to hold up. I think they were more important for advancing alternative music than the actual music they made.

Now if the Bongos reunite, sign me up...

I remember The Feelies coming to perform at Lynchburg College back in the late '80s. I think I was one of only about 30 people there. I remember that most of the student body had pretty crappy musical taste. Fetchin' Bones and Dumptruck garnered similar-sized audiences. I think they might've gotten 80 for NRBQ. There weren't enough seats, though, when this one crappy Billy Joel/Elton John impersonator would swing through once a semester. Amazing.

I was just digging The Feelies not too long ago when I re-watched this great flick:

SMITHEREENS Trailer (feat: "The Boy With The Perpetual Nervousness"

I was on contract in a small village about 120 miles North of New Delhi, India. I purchased a Feelies cassette tape for the 10 hour trip to the airport. The taxi driver loved it so I left it with him.
