Yeah, those democrats voting for her right now will IMMEDIATELY jump ship and vote for McCain. Dumbass.

Primary results /= to General election results.

I'll just assume such a stupid-ass statement is just trolling.

I guess you also believe that if she wins, everyone who voted for Obama will suddenly vote for McCain, right? And everyone who voted for Huckabee, Romney, Paul, and every other Republican who ran against McCain is going to vote for the Dem nominee in November, huh?

You might want to think these things through a little bit before posting.

Disparaging an entire state of people is so much less offensive than disparaging an entire race of people.

He was at about 70% before Bill started likening his candidacy to Jesse Jackson.

I hope Obama has his super-delegates lined up so he keeps getting a few everyday.

Next week is going to rock unless you are a Clinton supporter.

Wednesday was the day it all fell apart. She will be an object of global ridicule by Monday if she doesn't come to grips with reality by this afternoon.

The only thing the press loves to taunt more than a winner is a sore loser.

Clinton has a 43-point advantage over Obama

43? That's also about how many states McCain will win in November.

When your nominee is still losing primary races after he supposedly has the nom locked up and he has already lost most of the biggest states in his own party's primaries, he is heading for a beat down in November.

Let her have West Virginia, not going to make a difference. Just means that us elitists in flannel out here in Oregon and them fine folks in Kentucky (Hi Drew!) are gonna get to deliver the final crushing blow.

Can't wait for the primary here in Kentucky. . . I missed the chance to register and vote in TN (you have to do it a month before hand) but now I'm back home from school and can catch it here. Finally get a chance to vote for Obama.

Also, that's pretty much the lead she needs in EVERY state from here on out to have a chance. Good luck with that.

The Dems have a thing called 'democracy'. The Republicans have plurality voting. Thus the difference.

Hi, concern troll, mayhaps you remember that the Clintons had a WEEEEEEEE bit of influence in the old Democratic party before this election. Perhaps you don't know that leading a grass roots campaign against a VERY well known, very well connected, pretty much assumed winner is indeed a difficult prospect. The fact that Obama has this thing won is absolutely astounding to me. I was sure he would slowly lose after his initial wins, but people have surprised me.

guilt by association 2008-05-09 08:45:29 PM
Not surprising given that senator Byrd has been in office for decades.

soy_bomb 2008-05-09 08:46:02 PM
Shaggy_C: The Dems have a thing called 'democracy'. The Republicans have plurality voting. Thus the difference.

What do the Republicans have to do with this? Obama can't take Hillary out. Even behind Obama a few percentage of delegates, she controls the race, not him. August is not going to be pretty. There will be a floor fight for who can best take on McCain. Obama will not fair well. One reason why the superdelegates haven't broken with Hillary and flooded over to Obama is that. If they were sure Obama was it, they would all announce for him not this trickle we see now.
