Damn you mods, I thought my headline was better.

Subby, how did you get the link to be accepted? I tried but it said the link had been posted on 3-18 already, so I forced to link via AOL.

This is awesome. I hope the other pollsters do the same thing.

Does this mean it's time to actually start paying attention or can I still ignore the coming elections for a few months?

That just means the Rasmussen poll doesn't matter anymore.

Tell her she's on in five.

This surprised me. Lots.

I wanted to see her final defeat. But with so few primaries left to go and the May 31 DNC rules meeting, I almost think she has to stay in. If only to soften the blow to Obama when he (potentially) loses states like West Virginia. It's not good to lose to a dropout.

Maybe if we had long break from any primaries like we had earlier. But the remainder will be wrapped up in a matter of weeks. Let her sing her swan song and then we can get down to real business.

Pollsters interfere too much as it is. They should lay off and give it time.

How motivated are people going to be to support a loser? I have a feeling Pro-Hillary turnout will falter.

If Hillary doesn't concede by the end of today, she'll be forced to next week.

She's hemorraghing money, her campaign is in the toilet, and superdelegates are abandoning her left and right.

Once the sting wears off, she'll come around.

/I hope.

Pfff. Beats me. Everyone's ability to predict the election returns has been way off this season.

Nah, she'll stay in until the 20th. When something as massive as the Clinton Machine smashes into the ground, it takes a long time for it to come to a complete stop, even though it has long since become engulfed in a screaming fireball and is fracturing pieces of itself all over the landscape.

At least Obama and McCain actually disagree on some things, even if they're both wrong most of the time. So maybe, just maybe, we might get away from the meaningless nonsense that has defined a race between two substantively identical candidates. Though I doubt it.

Churchill2004: two substantively identical candidates.

I disagree. I believe that Hillary and Obama were very close on policy but they are very different on how they do things.

Hillary surrounds herself with Yes men and cronies and Obama surrounds himself with good people. This style element is just as important as your stand on policy. Look at the current president, if his position was the same but was not surrounded by yes men he would be a lot better.

SurveyUSA is the best individual of the bunch this season.

Though Fivethirtyeight is a good aggregator and I'd prefer them.

Man, I like the guy and I'm nearly certain to vote for him, but that is farkin' comedy gold right there. Especially when he says "all but one - all but Alaska and Hawaii".

Dude. Counting to 2 isn't that hard.

Remove all Republicans: Cuthbert Allgood: /too presumptive of me?

With a 40 point lead in West Virginia, yeah. Let's see if she can get the momentum going.

I haven't even seen the media mention the number yet. When they don't bother to mention the number, you could win 99-1 and it wouldn't make any difference. The only real earth-shaker would be if it turned out to be any sort of a race at all. If Obama even broke 40, it'd be portrayed as a disaster for Hillary.

Nemo's Brother 2008-05-10 10:00:26 AM
It would be cool if she dropped out and Obama still got creamed in WVa. Obama wants her to stay in until then anyways.
