Jonah Goldberg? WTF? He's the most intellectually dishonest hack on that list. At least Rush & Co. realize that they're entertainers, but Goldberg actually thinks that he makes sense. Off by a bit as Reagan died in 2004. Unless we are talking about brain dead then it has been a bit more than 14 years. Somewhere around '85 or '86 when his most common comment because "What? I don't remember." in refernence to Iran-Contra.

There are about two of those names who would catch my eye if I were browing a list of editorials choosing which to read -- Will and Gingrich.

Except "liberal" in the rest of the world usually refers to either Economic Liberalism, which is more or less the antithesis to Marx's ideas, or to Liberal Democracy, which similarly has very little to do with Marxist ideals.

Conflating "Liberal" with "Socialist" and even "Marxist" is a phenomenon rarely seen outside the American Conservative right. Which is a bit ironic, given that some of the ideals and traditions they claim to be conservative about stem from the most liberal pieces of writing ever used as the foundation of a nation.
