First, I don't buy it coming from him.

But second, I wonder if Clinton will try this approach:
"Make me your running mate or I'll drag this farking primary out until August."

supichoo [TotalFark] 2008-05-08 10:54:21 AM
The Democrats are seriously farking retarded if this happens.

I really want to vote for Obama, please don't saddle him with that coont.

LawTalkingGuy 2008-05-08 10:54:49 AM
If so, and if he gets elected, President Obama would be the safest human being on the planet. They could practically fire the entire secret service, remove the locks on the White House, and install some screen doors.

It'll never happen.

Lieberman for McCain's VP?

/Might for him then, but definitely if Huckabee is chosen.

My thoughts exactly... He'd have a personal bodyguard of neocons ready to take a bullet for him.

Nah... someone would just take them both out at once and then I think it's the speaker of the house or secretary of state...

Gwendolyn [TotalFark] 2008-05-08 10:57:14 AM
They have pretty much split Democratic support down the middle it makes sense to do it ala Kennedy and Johnson. It would also tie up the two largest voting blocks in Democratic party. It's not a stupid idea.

Unless you are one the Obama supporters. Kinda hard to vote for someone you've been demonizing for 6 months.

If that happens, there is a good chance we might get our first double assasination in presidential history. Word of advice for Obama: stay away from Texas.

I've seen much more demonization from the Hillary camp than the Obama amp. hillaryis44.com reads like Free Republic or Little Green Footballs with the names changed.

If I were Obama, I'd offer her the VP slot, then right before she said "yes" because she's a power hungry witch, I'd pull my hand back and say "PSYCH beeytoch!"

Besides, if she gets the VP slot and the Dems win the office, that means she is one bad accident to Obama away from the White House. That's many steps closer than she would be if she just went back to her Senatorial duties.

Speaker of the House is 3rd in line. That's right Pelosi is one pretzel and a heart attack away from the Presidency.

If the last 8 years has taught me anything, it's that all the VP does is hide in secure, undisclosed locations, shoots people in the face, growls at the press, tells fellow lawmakers to go take a flying fark, and has the occasional heart attack. Therefore, my care level is low.

*quizzical dog*

No, not really. Sitting in the middle, as I am, in this entire race, here's how it looks to me:

1) Obama supporters are frustrated, but generally congenial and willing to talk issues.
2) Hillary supporters are freaking right the fark out and screaming at everything/everyone.
3) McCain supporters are watching with amusement.

Hillary's demonized herself with her "kitchen sink" strategy. Once (last year) I was undecided about her, but the way she's conducted her campaign has convinced me that there's no way in hell I would support her.

She should have dropped out about two months ago when the delegate math no longer worked for her, but she keeps moving the goal posts. She's so power hungry that she's perfectly willing to drag the party down with her and that I will not accept.

And this. I can not for the LIFE of me figure out why anyone would think for a moment that Hillary Clinton gives two farts about America or the American people. She has so obviously proven she'll do anything to attain the goal of the White House - and not because it's the right thing, but because it's "her turn." I used to think she was as acceptable a candidate as Obama. But in the last 3 months or so she's confirmed every evil thing ever said about her while her husband was in office. And then some.
