So do celebrities think that beating up photographers for major newspapers will result in LESS publicity?

I suspect it's a cunning ploy to get more "street cred."

... Except the celebrity didn't even do it, so there goes that idea.

Chris Brown has a horrible reputation for asking too much of security. He did it at the American Music Awards; more or less asked other Close Protection Personnel to get him into a party that was 21+ regardless of celebrity "status", had a tantrum when they didn't/couldn't, basically threatened not to pay, blablabla.

One of the guys I carpool with listens ONLY to hip hop stations in his car. It's the same 12 songs over and over, as if the station employees make a mixtape at the beginning of the week, put it on loop, and then slack off at their jobs.

The photographer wasnt respecting them as artists. What do you expect?

if anything he'll be able to take them to court and sue for damages. hope he had insurance on that $3000 camera. i'm an amateur photographer and my camera is only worth about $1200, and I would get pretty damn pissed off about it being taken or damaged by some dickless asshole.

At 19, should Mr. Brown be there in the first place?

Whats the age in Florida to be allowed in a nightclub and not be served?

Laws dont apply to the choosen few!

Why don't the photographers get concealed weapons permits for themselves--that way if they feel threatened they can pull out their piece and shove it in the bodyguards face!

lol

I might be on to something here......

State of Florida: 18 to enter, 21 to serve.

Whether or not you DECIDE to let 18+ is entirely up to you.

Hip hop is the equivalent of disco. It's tired and over, not to mention having a huge case of the sucks.

Cheri Pi 2008-05-07 10:58:30 PM
Rap/Hip Hop/R&B (they've all melded into the same suck) is just going through the same phase that metal went through in the mid to late 80's with hair metal. Soon, it'll be seen for how ridiculous it's gotten and something else will become the dominant force in music, much how rap usurped rock in the 90s and rock had dethroned the disco and easy listening garbage of the 70s.

You guys know that the photographer approached the car and opened the door, sticking the camera inside, right? The Bodyguards did their job.

Most body/security guards are in-the-closet homosexuals. They all take illegal steroids and lift weights, only to impres their fellow co-worker for a butt reaming session.
