Have you not ever lived near an army base - a good number of the wives are trashy. It is kinda like "An officer and a gentleman" I fear - the guys are lonely and away from home and some of these women prey on that...they are just looking for a meal ticket and a way out of town.

Not all of them are like this but a good number of them are cringe worthy.
