Didn't the guy know as a black he would come under increased scrutiny. Charge cards without oversight are for whities only.

Cops are above the law.
So please don't try to stop them , while they steal your gas, for fear of the Pretard cop using his Taser near gas....

Wait, is this a new gameplay aspect in GTA?

Why do cops always leave their cars running ALL THE FARKING TIME?!?? I went to a local festival and there were cops idling their cars everywhere. There was a St. Tammany Sheriff's RV idling diesel at 4.00+/gal. There were cops riding around in gas powered golf carts for a festival that took up a whole 2 blocks. If we want to reduce CO2 emissions how about making it law that cops have to quit wasting our gas?

Cop cars need their engines running, defects, to power the air conditioning.

Can't have a cop sitting around bored AND sweating in NOLA heat, can we? That's just a recipe for trouble.

Then there's all the radio gear. Wouldn't that be embarrassing, if the cop is running his radio gear with the engine off, kills his battery.

Ishidan, I actually saw a cop car with a flat once. The ironic thing was, Id had a flat nearby and the cops wouldnt give me a push start. If they'd given me a push-start I couldve given them a jump-start, but they were pricks.

In one case, at least, they leave it running so the A/C is on for the canine. And in one sad, specific case, the grass under the parked vehicle caught fire and the canine died.

A friend of mine who grew up in south LA knew some police who all of a sudden started wearing 8 thousand dollar watches right after Katrina...anyway.

You just gave them an idea for their next installment, "Grand Theft Auto V: Pump 'n run".

This is why blacks should not be allowed to be cops. Vote, either.

How would the cops giving you a push start helped with your flat tire? How would giving them a jump-start helped with their flat tire?

Yep. Who woulda da thunk it?

In the small Louisiana town I grew up in, we had one police officer. He was especially proficient at finding us on Friday and Saturday nights and "confiscating" our beer, no matter where we hid. We'd get a lecture, he'd get the beer and we wouldn't see him the rest of the night.

We partied out in the woods a lot (yep, it was LA) so we learned to keep an extra couple of ice chests in the woods. Once he got his, we were free to carry on.

I moved a little over a year ago, best thing I've ever done. LA is a shiathole.

That's no more different than watching one tow truck tow another or a mail truck upside down somewhere and wondering if any of the mail still in it was yours.

The world be strage like that. But why would you need a push start for a flat? Just change the damn tire. Or leave the engine running (out of gear of course) and to a quick change out? Or was your battery dead too. But they were pricks, so that's all that matters.

At the gas pump I used today there was a picture of a man wearing a ski mask, pointing a gas nozzle at you. Underneath it read "another reason to ride a bike". Funny stuff!

/$10 for 2.84 gallons
//not funny

Well, as much as I hate Tyler, at least he is further away from LA than me.

Funny thing is, the cops used to "confiscate" our fireworks too. And we developed the same exact strategy. We'd make a bag with black-cats, and a couple of bottle-rockets, a little mordida for the po-po, and hide the expensive stuff in the bushes. Inevitably, they'd bust us every New Year's and July 4th. Once they were an at a distance acceptably deniable for both parties, we'd start up again with the fun stuff. After their shift they'd take their families out to Livingston and light up all the evidence, or so we were told.

According to a couple of people I know with the Sheriff and the Metro now this is what they still do.

They never bothered us for our beer though. But we deliberately bought cheap, nasty shiat. And that was before the law changed, when they'd let a party continue as long as 18 year olds were around and nobody was on fire.

It took moving away to appreciate how nice it is not to have a bunch of tight-assed alderman telling you what kind of goose you can or cannot eat. Louisiana has its problems for sure. But, if you want to be generally left alone and free from untoward interference from officious bureaucratic types, it's hard to beat.

I will gladly argue that moving from Louisiana to damn near anywhere is a wise decision.

Biloxi ruins your argument.
