Yea, because one guy with a laptop can do it all, right?

And it will sound just as good, right?

What, is the Sad tag on strike?

The further erosion of culture in the homogenized mass media of North America.

So long as they don't cancel The Vinal Cafe I'll be ok.

You know, if they had a Venal Cafe, I'd listen.

I run the VICI cafe....

Having said that, tho, man, the way these things pass into history
IS kinda sad...

I'm starting to realize what my parents and grandparents were
talking about...

If you thieves hadn't been downloading all their music, this wouldn't have happened.

This is part of the CBC's plan to go after the coveted "youth" market. Thing is, the Corpse is failing miserably at it. No way in Hades are the youth tuning in to CBC programming en masse. At the same time, with bone-headed decisions like this one with the radio orchestra, the national broadcaster is losing its core audience in droves.

CBC 2's core audience is extremely small, and a very narrow demographic slice of the country.

They're moving to reflect a much bigger portion of Canadian music and serve a better proportion of the population that pays for the service.

i saw them at the chan centre at UBC last weekend. they were playing songs by Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and BTO. it was amazing.
