I don't even need to watch the video for this one.

Hillary is a moron, her advisers are morons, and she needs to quit. Like yesterday.

I fear for this country if she wins the Democrats' nomination. No matter who wins the election.

Obama is a racist for not condemning these comments five minutes before they happened. He's also an elitist for not drinking enough television beers.

Let see how the MSM treats this:

1) Obama's old pastor says some bad things (some quoted out of context): Cover the story for 3 weeks.

2) Clinton former campaign chief and current advisor (Mickey Kantor), current supporter/advisor (Carville), and former press secretary/advisor (Stephanapoulos) (who also moderated last week's debate on ABC and is interviewing Clinton on Sunday) joke about how people from Indiana are "worthless white attractive and successful African-Americans" who "are shiat": I'd bet they cover it for about 4 hours...

So she gets to denounce and reject someone who was the WTO and NAFTA's #1 cheerleader. That's good, right? Right?

To be fair, it didn't really look like Carville or Stephanapoulos cared too much for the comment. They seemed to ignore it more than anything else.

I must be missing the worthless whit blank part, but what REALLY enraged me was Carville saying he "didn't want no dang-ole BUSCH beer, give me a BUDWEISER." HEY JAMES WHO DO YOU THINK MAKES BUDWEISER??? Repulsive.

I doubt it gets much coverage here in Indy - we've got the mini-marathon tomorrow and the IMS open for rookie practice on Sunday. I'm sure that it will make the front page of the Indy Star but the reaction from most of the populace will probably be minimal due to the above circumstances. It couldn't have come out on a more opportune weekend for Hillary (even if it is right before the primary). Sad but true.

This stupid clip of an obvious jerk is nothing. It means nothing.

If the good people of Indiana are too dense to see what a train wreck her campaign is then this little clip won't mean shiat.

Sammy Jenkins: I guess being called "shiatty" is less offensive than being called "shiat", but either way, I don't think either of those words represent the good people of Indiana.

No doubt calling the good people of Indiana "shiatty" is disrespectful and will damage the Clinton campaign by association, but it's a far cry from calling the good people "worthless white n*ggers."

Also, the timing of this couldn't be more suspicious. Friday afternoon in time to make the 5:00 news on the weekend before the Indiana primaries? Please.

anyway - just rent the war room, turn up the volume on your tv... then we can find out if its really in there.

Sammy Jenkins: I guess being called "shiatty" is less offensive than being called "shiat", but either way, I don't think either of those words represent the good people of Indiana.

Not that this whole thing isn't a pretty stupid thing to argue about, but the headline is Clinton campaign in 1992: Indiana people are "worthless white n*ggers". Bonus: George Stephanapoulos looking boyishly good

I heard no one in that clip say "worthless white attractive and successful African-Americans".

Calling the people of Indiana "shiatty" isn't exactly cool, either, of course, but A: It was years ago, and B: Carville and Stephonopoloppolisosis both look pretty embarrassed that the guy said it and moved the conversation forward as quickly as possible.

Having said all that, Hillary still needs to get the fark out of the way so the Dems can unify behind someone who has a chance of winning. Go Obama.

Wow! It's almost as if they really don't have a lot of respect for the poor masses they so publicly champion for.

Of course, this was 15 years ago, so I'm sure that all that time inside the beltway has since washed away this contempt for the "little people" of "flyover country."

I thought that the convention wisdom was that you release news on a Friday to BURY it. People don't watch the news as much over the weekend....

I'm not in TV media, so I'm not sure about that.

But yes and no - you release news on Friday to see weekend coverage but you can also release on Friday in the hopes to avoid investigation. I.e., "this news release just came across but it's 4:30 on Friday afternoon. I'll just hastily key it into the system for Sunday publication and call it done" when they should be reading it for scrutiny.

It can go both ways depending on your agenda.
