I usually am the first person to condemn the police, but that is farking hilarious. I wonder if they just came up with this idea right on the spot. Cops can easily get $100k a year with a little overtime. If he wins a judgement, can get quite a lot of money back if wages are garnished.

Here is why.

FTA: A federal judge ruled a few years ago that the city could not be held accountable for the officers? actions because there was not a documented "pattern or history of abuse." Granger was left to sue the officers individually.
