Is it just me, or does anyone else (after reading the story) have a profound urge to just swing a crowbar into that face? I mean, I occasionally have destructive, negative urges that I'm well aware of, and do my best to avoid... But in this case, I think a crowbar would be a truly constructive, and positive development.

The arresting officer really crapped in his hat on this one.
The whole point in creating a pile of charges is to drive up the required bail and so that there is something to negotiate over for a plea bargain and still manage to keep the slime off of the street for a while.

Laugh all you want, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that that guys IS the cold, ruthless bastard that all the ITG's pretend to be... and THAT is what makes him "tough." (or more aptly, dangerous)

I've seen guys with that look before. He's not preening or puffing up. I guarantee you that's a guy that's got no personal limits, nothing he won't do if he thinks he can get away with it. He'd probably cut your throat for a five-spot.
