And that's the story of how Drew came to choose an Orange instead of Gators on the Flordia tag. The end.

In his fantasy land, absolutely.

Somebody should try that.

Who gives a flying fark? As a resident of Georgia, I am ashamed of our state government. They were debating some bill a few weeks ago that shunned the BCS system.

Seriously, I think they have better things to worry about and work on than college sports and praying for rain.

Is this the state people had to avoid driving through because their police would harrass and falsely ticket out of state drivers? Is this the same state people avoid to actually head to Florida?

The beautiful women in Florida more than make up for their stupidity. You should hear about their understanding of contraception. Dumb hot girls are awesome.

I can't believe that the Georgia Senate would have something better to do than to ban Gator license plates.

I don't know what's more depressing, the fact that the reporter put that in there or the fact that there are probably actually people out there who needed that explanation.

I try to go to at least one a year, didn't make it to any last year though, I don't think (or maybe I did, I usually end up forgetting those days anyway, what with the flask in my pocket and everything).

Best day of my life was being in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl against FSU though. Odd how there seemed to be no FSU fans on Bourbon Street after the game.

Twas Alabama, I believe. And it was just 'man love rules', not 'man boy love'- that could potentially get you in a lot of trouble anywhere...

I love this, a quick way to bring in some money from UF alums and they decide to throw it away. Florida has a UGA plate and no one cares, but these guys have their heads so far up UGA's butt that they can't see that all this would do is make a few extra bucks for their state. I can't wait until Tebow brings the pain to the Georgia linebackers this year.

At first I thought this was the Gainesville GA newspaper talking about immigration...the place is often called "little mexico" for a reason.

There was an older, poorly maintained house in Dunwoody painted in bright orange and blue with the roof done in 10 yd lines and the TV antenna converted to look like a goalpost. I'm sure the roughly million dollar homes around this loved their neighbor immensely, especially when the "Swamp at Dunwoody" sign was prominently displayed.

As an SEC fan who went to neither Georgia nor Florida, I'm getting a kick out of these replies.

And frankly as a Georgian this is one of the smarter pieces of legislation I've heard about at the state level recently. So while they are debating this, Clayton County is about to be de-accredited *as a public school system*, the state border is suddenly in dispute on the northern side, Cobb county is trying to fight evolution, Gwinett is (was?) fighting a woman hell-bent on taking out the Harry Potter "witchcraft" out of public schools, and the abortion issue seems to slither its way through the Assembly on an annual basis.

Scary tag should run for a position in the legislature, take the job, and demand a bonus.

/I love my new home state but sometimes the state government and its proposals can be weird

"In fact, my children used to have nightmares because we lived dangerously close to the state of img1.fark.net."

I have no doubt in my mind that the aforementioned quote is true and correct in every sense of the word. And I will make it known now that there may in fact be no greater horror on this earth than achieving proximity to Florida.

I agree, you have nothing, especially since Georgia Tech is not Florida's rival.
