The number of African Americans in prison in this country went from under 100,000 to over 1 million because of Bill Clinton. Plenty of intelligent people knew before this election that the Clintons would throw black people under the bus faster than Lani Guinier

Bush didn't suspend Habeas Corpus. He just acted like he did.

What Lincoln did was say, in writing, "I officially suspend habeas corpus in the following states." Bush never did that.

And that's important, because when the Civil War was over, habeas corpus was reinstated. But you can't reinstate habeas corpus now, because it was never officially suspended.

Just as a reminder... America never actually liked Bill Clinton. Anyone remember that guy with the big ears in 1992? A larger percentage of the population affirmatively supported Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, Bush Jr. (either time), Gerry Ford, or Adlai Stevenson than affirmatively supported Bill Clinton in 1992. This was reflected in the 1994 bloodbath. Clinton was incumbent after years of peace and prosperity and didn't even manage a majority vote of confidence after that.
