I was at the show in Orlando Wednesday night at the video was great. Roger McGuinn from The Byrds came out during the encore and the band did Turn, Turn, Turn and Mr. Tambourine Man. I don't think I've seen people in the crowd so into a show since Flogging Molly... And those kids were mostly 20 somethings. On a sad not tho, Clarence has definetly lost a step. They had a big chair for him to rest on between sax gigs and he took really small measured steps on stage.

/sucks getting old.
//played Darkness on The Edge of Town until the grooves wore out on my record player.

I hope people appreciate how much of Springsteen's success is because of his band. Can't wait to see them again this summer!

Haha!

I saw Springsteen last month in Columbus, just 3 dates after Danny's last show. One of the best shows i've ever seen, aside repeatedly being told to sit down.

A classy and touching tribute.

Hey, at least you rightfully referred to him as an artist.

Springsteen is one of the great songwriters of the last century. Not every one of them is a slam dunk, but quite a few of them are. He's written some very deep and thoughtful stuff.

This headline only made me miss the actual Blood Brothers.

There is more music than prog-rock.

Someday you'll discover this.

you were seconds away from being ignored, until irealized you were joking, because no one could think buckethead sucks.

My main gripe with Bruce is the fact that he is praised as the saviour of rock and roll, a statment that I find false and extremly degrading to muscians. Now I am not saying he cant write a decent song, but his song writing isn't the best. I would take Woody or Arlo Guthrie as the quintisential american song writer. I think Paul Simon has penned more meaningful and heartfelt songs (S and G days).

I am in no way devaluing your opinion or feelings of him, but am just saying I dont like him. I also don't like u2, the sex pistols, or britney spears.

Oh geez, I'm friggin' tearing up here. I hopped on the E Street bandwagon in 1984, and never looked back.

That's a wonderful, touching tribute.

I think it's closer to say that he re-popularized the idea that rock 'n' roll can save you.

I didn't buy that either, until recently. Then I heard "Thunder Road."
