Well, I read through the transcript you posted - twice - and I don't see where he actually told anyone to riot. I mean, he predicts some rioting. I've known Rush Limbaugh is an lying asshole for quite some time. I can deal with that -- it's politics, and being a lying asshole goes with the territory, whether you're pursuing votes or ratings. But I'm simply awestruck he'd go so far as to incite a riot. And with his millions of mindless slave-monkeys devoted fans eager to do his bidding, he'll probably pull it off, too. All the while styling himself as a prime exponent of good old-fashioned conservative law and order.

Sadly, I think that riots in Denver this summer are not at all outside the realm of possiblity, even without Rush. It looks very unlikely the Democratic party will settle on a nominee before the convention -- Hillary will not drop out before then regardless of what happens, because she's Hillary, and Obama probably won't either, because he's winning. So there will likely be dirty tricks and shenanigans galore, not to mention a huge pile of protesters, even more than are usual at a party convention. And the country is already in a pissy mood this year. With Rush trying to start shiat, I think I'm going to stay way the hell far away from Colorado this August.

The possibilities of the convention rioting got me thinking - is this a closed door event, or do they broadcast it on tv? How will the rest of us not in the privileged few with tickets know what is going on inside closed doors? I fully admit I did not pay attention to the previous conventions.
