It's Sandinista, bro.

Why should Jones (or any of the remaining Clash alumni) have to apologise for that album (well, besides that last few tracks)? I think that Sandinista is better than London Calling.

jigoro: Should I tase or should I bro?

Always tase tase tase
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine, next day is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I tase or should I bro?

Should I tase or should I bro now?
Should I tase or should I bro now?
If I bro there will be trouble
An' if I tase it will be double
So come on and let me know!
Should I tase or should I bro?

ready to go
zap zap zap. Another one bites the volt

Oh purleeze.

I love Joe, Mick and The Clash, and I see nothing that would somehow 'tarnish' the memory of what they achieved previously.

You ever see Joe in Straight To Hell?

Carbon/Silicon is a pretty good band, and very tech savvy...releasing albums worth of material online for free, and even dubbing a song 'mpfree' in the process. Mick talking about the 'Don't tase me bro' meme is just them being in tune with what's happening on the internets and adding it to their musical creativity. And why the hell not?

Sorry, bad=band, not refering to Big Audio Dynamite, whose best track (if there is such a thing) still sucked more than the worst of The Clash

Hey, finding someone else who knows it is prize enough in my book. You're the third person I've met in real life or otherwise who knows that song. Of course, nothing is obscure on Fark, or so the saying goes.

B.A.D kinda lost their way after their 4th album. But everything they did prior to that still farks all over Cut The Crap.

Gunny Highway 2008-04-24 03:59:16 PM
I am a sucker for anything Clash so i will give it a shot. Well not Cut the Crap but everything else.

Absolutely. Musicians aren't known for being particularly bright in the first place... A few notable exceptions, sure - but apparently this isn't one of them.

danlpoon 2008-04-24 04:00:29 PM
I loved the Clash when I was kid. I guess my all-time favorite Clash Song is "Killing In The Name". That shiat rocks~!

nitroglycerine 2008-04-24 04:02:43 PM
Just want to say that I'm one of the few people in the world who likes Cut The Crap. It's a way better album than Combat Rock, and the songwriting is pretty good. I'd like to hear a rough mix of that album ala Younger Louder and Snottier because the production on that album is a big steaming pile of fail.

TFA: The long arm of the law and civil disobedience inspired such Clash tunes as "Police & Thieves" and "White Riot."

Nice reporting. The Clash didn't write "Police & Thieves", and that jerkoff wasn't tased for merely "attempt[ing] to ask Kerry a question".

I love the Clash especially now that they call themselves Green Day.
