I read that way too fast, saw it as "Louie Anderson", thought of his grotesque features, and gagged up a little stomach acid.

I read that as Lonnie Anderson, thought "Old Lou did alright, there."

Why at this point? They've been together for 100 years. Now that he's made an "honest woman" out of her, I bet it doesn't last another two years . . .

. . . or Lou Reed is terminally ill, and this is the only way to legally assure she gets everything.

Lou Reed likes to go cow tippin'

Lou Reed lyrics
by the little willies

We were drivin through West Texas
The land of beef and pork
Where they tend the hides of leather
We wear back in New York
In a pasture, along a roadside
Behind a brokedown shack
On a dusky side of evening
We saw a figure dressed in black

And we don't mean to sound like we're trippin
But we swear to God
We saw Lou Reed cow tippin
Cow tippin

Hey Lou, "Is that you?"
She said as we pulled to the shoulder
He just said, "Go screw."
And then he turned and tipped one over
Under a spitshine Western sky
The color of blue varnish
Hey it's like Fellini
Actually I'm thinkin more like Jim Jarmusch

And we can't say how much we've been sippin
But we swear to God
We saw Lou Reed cow tippin
Cow tippin

I got cops on the cell
I said I got a little story to tell
Lou Reed is in the cow pen
They said, Oh no! Not again!

And we hope our perceptions isn't slippin
But we swear to God
We saw Lou Reed cow tippin
Cow tippin

Cow tippin
Cow tippin
Cow tippin
You really think that was Lou Reed?
Cow tippin
I'm sure it was, he was wearing black Levis
Cow tippin
I thought he was a vegetarian
Cow tippin
He's just tippin them over, he wasn't eating them
Cow tippin
Oh
Cow tippin

I thought they both were gay. So, all this makes sense to me. Will they both be bearing fruit?

I'll never forgive him for his skank-poseur-reading of Dylan's "Foot of Pride" at the anniversary concert. Although I liked "New York".

Good evening.
This is your Captain.
We are about to attempt a crash landing.
Please extinuish all cigarettes.
Place your tray tables in their upright, locked position.
Your Captain says: Put your head on your knees.
Your Captain says: Put your head on your hands.
Captain says: Put your hands on your head.
Put your hands on your hips.
Heh heh.

This is your Captain-and we are going down.
We are all going down, together.
And I said: Uh oh.
This is gonna be some day.
Standby.

I just love her.

This right here is all you ever need to know:

You're walking. And you don't always realize it,
but you're always falling.
With each step you fall forward slightly.
And then catch yourself from falling.
Over and over, you're falling.
And then catching yourself from falling.
And this is how you can be walking and falling
at the same time.

/Thanks, subby (you magnificent bastard), now I have to listen to the whole friggin' album.

When did Lou Reed stop being gay?

Of course, marrying Laurie Anderson isn't the most heterosexual thing you can do. She's just a penis short of manhood.

maxheck 2008-04-24 10:04:09 AM
The best non-concert I ever went to was the time Laurie Anderson canceled in the early 80's at Merriweather Post Pavillion. About 1000 people tripping balls and my sober self all hung out for hours.

It was probably more entertaining than the concert would have been.

runwhiteyrun06 2008-04-24 10:04:21 AM
I saw Lou perform Tuesday in D.C. and I'm seeing him again Saturday. Short setlist, but he can farking rock for a 66 year old.

/Great Show

Presenting Laurie Anderson, and her concept of sperm size and how that relates to it's swimming speed. Or something like that.

Mach 20 (new window)

Interesting, and it's actually more funny than odd

GungFu

I remember "Oh Superman". I think I may have seen that video on "Night Flight", but that was a while back.
