I stopped at 2:06. You can keep the 6 seconds, I want the 2 minutes of my life back.

Does anyone have any ear bleach?

CatJumpJohn 2008-04-21 10:22:32 AM
It's more embarrassing to listen to than annoying.

I just so happen to have exactly 30 minutes with access to my headphones between classes. Thanks, submitter.

mason4300 2008-04-21 10:35:36 AM
You know, there are parts of this thing that I actually sort of like, aside from the obviously obnoxious parts. Is that wrong?

Xarkuri 2008-04-21 10:36:24 AM
I dunno how long I lasted, but I do know I have an urge to burn down wal-marts and opera houses while punching children.

wood 2008-04-21 10:36:34 AM
had to stop at 14:11

hey Everybody! It's labor Day!

I have actually owned that CD for years and still listen to it occasionally. I am 90% sure that woman voiced for Parappa the Rappa. When I first got it I did some research and the voice of Chicken was done by someone named Deena/Dina/some not normalish name and on the CD the same name is credited.

mason4300 2008-04-21 11:05:33 AM
you know, I didn't really find it that annoying. At least this one tries to annoy you on purpose. It's sad that there is an abundance of shiatty music out there that is an actual, serious attempt by someone, and even sadder that there are people that listen to it. I can think of hundreds of songs and artists that I would gladly have washed out with this particular song any day.

Could only listen to a couple minutes for time reasons. All I thought was if woodblocks, harps, and harmonicas are wrong, I don't wanna be right.

The only annoying thing was the melody and harmony. THAT was ear grating.

Ilmarinen 2008-04-21 11:09:46 AM
Now having listened to the whole thing, there are a few parts I kinda like. I'm gonna agree with mason4300.

macdaddy357 2008-04-21 11:12:45 AM
That would make great "on hold" music for phones. It would also fit right in in a dentist's waiting room.

I Like Bread 2008-04-21 11:14:28 AM
They forgot the horrible production.

Half the entries on MP3.com's "Worst of the Worst" page could beat this easily. "PritStik", "Taco Taco Taco" and "I Have No Friends, I Wear Depends" are legendary. Sadly, the site is not what it used to be.

hahaha! That would be the best "hold" music ever. If I ever have some mega-company, this will be made into reality.

/of course, the mega-company thing will never be a reality, but I can dream...

mlkmandan 2008-04-21 11:17:12 AM
Kept me laughing......I kept picturing Walmart marketing execs sitting in a room bobble-head agreeing to "johnson's wife's idea" to have her 2nd grade snowflake's music class record audio spots to go out over the store PA systems.....

Could have been much worse, could have been Yoko Ono singing Chauncer, with an Oboe duet accompanying her in the background.

Joed112784 2008-04-21 11:20:05 AM
I couldn't make it very far past the opera rapping. Nice find subby.

mason4300 2008-04-21 11:22:34 AM
I am actually listening to it again. This thing is great!

mason4300 2008-04-21 11:23:12 AM
dun-dun-dun Easter time!! Easter Time!!...

Harvey Birdman 2008-04-21 11:23:31 AM
The Song: Twenty-seven electoral votes, central policy issue, two party system, struggle, gain control of the government, executive branch, military branch, foreign affairs, influence policy, profound by theology, fascism, promote individual interests, George Stephanopolous, The Denver Broncos, promote special interests, shelter, beans, bananas, lumber, pork bellies, pork barrels, coca-cola, the information superhighway, three-thousand years of oppression.

Sounds like they hid a System of a Down song in there...

jake3988 2008-04-21 11:24:14 AM
What the bloody hell?!?!?

That opera rapping is one of the strangest thing it has ever been my displeasure to listen to. And I've listened to pretty bad rap music in my time.

heh, did you write all that yourself, or did you find the lyrics somewhere? I thought the same thing, though. :P

I thought it said Emelda Marcos, and not the Denver Broncos...

Gals Panic:

I did some research and the voice of Chicken was done by someone named Deena/Dina/some not normalish name and on the CD the same name is credited.

Her name was Michele Burks Link (pops)

Now can anyone tell me who the woman is singing in this song?

morlinge 2008-04-21 11:37:56 AM
Really if you can listen to polytonality, Schoenberg, or Ives you get to enjoy this kinda stuff.

Anyone ever listen to Every Girl's My Girlfriend by The Kids of Widney High? Good stuff

gbiewer 2008-04-21 11:41:27 AM
subby. you. sir. suck.

mod. you. sir. suck. for. greenlight.

HOPWhiteyFord 2008-04-21 11:41:35 AM
Anyone think it would be a nice challenge to see if you could get laid while playing this music?
Sadly I might know a girl who would get jollies from 3:35 to 4:01

wow, I just got probably the creepiest image in my head of some people getting it on with the holiday parts playing in the background...."Easter time! Easter time!" eech....

HOPWhiteyFord 2008-04-21 11:50:00 AM
all of the holiday ones are completely full of win. "Ramadan ... Ramadan . . . lots of praying with no breakfast. ramadan ramadan Do all your shopping... at WALMART!!!" I think the ramadan one takes the cake though.

Rose McGowan Loveslave 2008-04-21 11:54:30 AM
is it worse than "Crazy Frog?"

//too frightened to listen

j3nnil337 2008-04-21 11:58:32 AM
Who ever decided to do this was hitting the crack pipe hard. WTF???????

Davon 2008-04-21 12:06:29 PM
I honestly don't see how this is more annoying than Kimya Dawson.

/Juno soundtrack

HOPWhiteyFord 2008-04-21 12:07:31 PM
The "protestor girl" at the end is fairly entertaining actually. She seems so damn furious and passionate, without actually saying anything... like a couple of protests I have listened to... complete with a random yelling of "George Stephanopolis." Yeah I am going to be sending this song out to my friends... maybe create a youtube video of it.
Of course, this could just be viral advertising for Walmart.

OK, can I shut it off now? The dog left the room crying...

/really... he did

The_Vig: Is that Judy Tenutta or whatever her name is.

Judy Tenuda. She's got her own religion: "Judy-ism". Pesonally I prefer to pronounce it JU-DAY-ISM to avoid just such a pun.

I also encourage everybody to pronounce "aunt" in the British/North Eastern North American fashion, namely "awnt" rather than "ant". Wipes out a whole colony of annoyig puns. It's the phonetic equivalent of RAID.
