I think he would be better served by moving to the land his family bought in Peru, if he wants to escape criminal prosecution and incarceration.

You wish.

So do I, but it won't happen.

Not Peru... Uruguay. Y'know, where there was no extradition treaties for those accused in international court for crimes against humanity?

Good...now he gets the joy of paying tolls to drive on the George Bush highway too.

I think SMU is building is Presidiential Museum on their campus too. I'm sure it will be as big of a tourist draw as the Kennedy shooting area is.

/Can't we make a rule...once you run for office, you're not allowed back out of DC?

Man, we would wind up with some thug-ass motherfarkers in office.

although fewer tourists are stopping by these days.

You don't say...

DAMMIT! Now I can never return to my home city ever again. D:

Is that a JFK reference. I hope not considering the Patriot Act is still in effect.

simpsonfan 2008-04-20 07:28:30 PM
He should move to Leavenworth.

Why not retire surrounded by the materialistic, golf-shirt-wearing, Ford F250-driving, racist, Baptist, homogenized-corporate-big-box-loving, Miller-lite-drinking, yellow-ribbon-sporting assholes that put him into office in the first place?

Sounds like a good plan to me.

HitInTheJunk 2008-04-20 07:39:16 PM
Didn't he buy the ranch in the run-up to the 2000 election?

Gee, I wonder what the purpose of Crawford was? It definitely couldn't have been to get PR photos like this one:

What a surprise. Not. Bush is and always will be a Connecticut Yankee, but he pretended to be a good ol' Texas boy to scare up votes.

ohknaks 2008-04-20 07:54:33 PM
LocalCynic: Bush grew up in Texas. He may have been born in CT but you certainly can't blame them for him.

I think it was actually Paraguay. North Eastern Paraguay specifically.

Probably. However, I doubt anyone on Fark has a library card.

Damn, he's sorta got that whole Reagan scam going on in that pic. What a coincidence.

Calling your $1.3M estate a "ranch" doesn't make it any less an estate and doesn't make you any more a blue-collar aw shucks down home boy.

FTFY. You've never been to Highland Park, have you? It's a very expensive, very high-class, very homogeneous neighborhood. However, I am surprised that I only had to change as little as I did. Oh Dallas...

Bacontastesgood 2008-04-20 09:48:31 PM
But where will he ride his horses and raise his 200 head-a-cattle?

Oh, you mean his ranch consists of nothing but flora and he was just a farking lame ass biatch pouser 'cowboy' trolling for votes? Nevermind.

You two should get a room in the ultra-hip city you so very well represent.

Floridans drink Miller? Seemed like more of a mixed-drink state to me.
