As in "liquid nitrogen is better at warming things up than liquid helium".

Duh. And?

This is part of the Clintonian-Bush idea of politics, that you can never say a nice thing about an opponent, never admit your opponent does anything well, never even say your opponents name. I'm glad Obama admits this.

Fark It [TotalFark] 2008-04-20 06:22:56 PM
Well that's obvious. McCain is a boot-licking neocon, whereas Bush is a boot-licking neocon meat-puppet who spent a decade and a half drinking, doing coke, and failing at jobs his father set him up with.

I don't know about this, but I hope Obama enjoyed the insult he got in response to his compliment from the McCain camp.

SphericalTime [TotalFark] 2008-04-20 08:18:08 PM
As much as I dislike McCain now, I have to agree with that. He might be a raging elitist with no knowledge of economics and a miserable foreign policy, but he still wouldn't be as bad as Bush.

If we elected him, which I doubt.

Gulper Eel [TotalFark] 2008-04-20 09:02:09 PM
And Obama would be better than Jimmy Carter.

CheddarPants [TotalFark] 2008-04-20 09:03:38 PM
If McCain is elected, Dick Cheney will still wield considerable influence. The Republican Party, at its highest level, is basically a criminal syndicate using the Iraq war as a means of embezzling a great deal of money from the US Treasury. And the bleeding will continue until the Republicans are out of the White House.

SphericalTime: If we elected him, which I doubt.

I'm starting to get very nervous about his electability. Rezko, Wright, flag pin, bittergate, Ayers, arugulagate ... most are relatively silly and in some cases ridiculous -- but so were the Swift Boat Vets.

But nobody wants this, either:

\what has Obama done to show that he is racist or approves of some of the more controversial things Wright has said?

Obama isn't Kerry.

I honestly think Obama will not be as kind to McCain as he is to Hillary. He really doesn't attack Hillary - he needs her voters, and he probably isn't comfortable attacking a fellow Dem. He won't have that niceness with a Republican.

Don't confuse magnanimity with weakness. Kerry was weak (as a campaigner), Obama is not.

Americans see McCain as an invigorating person who will unite both sides of the party. Face it, the Deomcrats just throw rocks at Republicans and preventing us from doing things instead of them doing good things for the country. Democrats are supportered by liberal wackos like Moveon.org and Air American who spread hate towards the Republicans.

McCain is going to unite America. I'm for the status quo. It's just that American people are just lazy and haven't competed in Darwinism in a while. The lack of Darwinism has led to higher gas prices and a downturn in the economy.

both sides of the "party"? the party is not the same thing as the nation, comrade, and winning your own dwindling base will not win the general election.

Face it, the Deomcrats just throw rocks at Republicans and preventing us from doing things instead of them doing good things for the country.

democrats prevented the republicans from doing good things? was that while the republicans controlled the white house and both houses of congress?

It's just that American people are just lazy and haven't competed in Darwinism in a while. The lack of Darwinism has led to higher gas prices and a downturn in the economy.

Come on, the Democrats are making this look as if McCain will be Bush's third term and it doesn't work that way. I mean Reagan's third term (H.W. Bush's first term) was never the same as the previous two terms.
