5/10, including the Nick Winters question.

I quit after question 4. I am just nowhere near enough of a nerd to answer these questions. I was kind of hoping for some audio, maybe something I could relate to memory. I did not expect the questions to be for the "elite" few who know how many wrinkles were in Jabba's ass.

Damn. 50%. Well, at least I knew the answer to the disco version. That's only because I accidently bought that version when I made my parents buy me the soundtrack. We ended up taking it back to get the real soundtrack.

Ironically, the disco version would probably be worth more. Not that I have the original soundtrack anymore (to my knowledge; it might be in my parent's house somewhere in their LP collection, if they still have it.)

And the Oscar question was a trick question. Bastids.

I have no idea, but I'm sure my sister would ace this.

And I'm not a Star Wars freak.

That was harder than I had anticipated. I am a total Star Wars geek AND a composer. Go figure.

I resent the fact that I lost a point not from lack of star wars knowledge but Youtune culture.

Oh and looky here, in the answer page, right below the YouTube answer, a link to where?

/kicks dirt on the ground

knumbersix 2008-04-14 10:46:34 PM
9/10 ... missed "King's Row". Been a fan since I was 13 (the year Jaws was released).

90%. I didn't know Williams was involved with Fiddler on the Roof. I had the Star Wars Christmas Album and can still sing songs from it.

/very proud of myself

No offense to any of the previous posters, but if I were a single girl, I would have any potential suitor take this test. A high score on this test would guarantee no score from me.

/just sayin!

FTFA: "Some people know every Star Wars movie inside out. But how much do you know about John Williams' score?"

Not to be too nit picky, but a better question would be "How well do you know music trivia with a star wars theme?"

Eleven if you count the anal fold.

I guessed on quite a few of them though.

Uhm, I own a copy of "Star Wars and other Intergalactic Funk" it's not that bad...it's not that good either. Try looking for the 45 version of it.

/nerd? geek? ubernerdlinger?
//I probably shouldn't mention the other SW LPs I own then.

Oh, no. See, when I was single, Star Wars knowledge was required for a guy to score. It's tough to be the only Star Wars geek in a relationship.

/married now
//husband has all of A New Hope's dialogue memorize, I cover TESB.
///he missed three on the test and gave up, knowing that I'd already beaten him. Sigh.

TheHopeDiamond: 8/10

And I'm not a Star Wars freak.

You would think that, but you would be wrong. You took a star wars themed quiz and then posted your score in a thread about said quiz. I am fairly certain that constitutes being a freak, or at least a nerd. Don't be ashamed own that shiat.

Really? Where exactly in Episode IV does the Imeperial March show up?

Curt Blizzah 2008-04-15 11:08:26 AM
Try humming the Star Wars theme first, then switch over to the original Superman theme. Impossible to do at first. Ask someone to do it, and see if they find it hard to not sing the same theme.

I'm very, very disappointed in myself. The only one I really knew was the Bill Murray one.

*sigh*
