When I was in university I pretty much lived off of Malt-o-Meal's version of Cap'n Crunch. That, and beer.

Marshmallow Mateys are way better than Lucky Charms. Had a friend who used to work for Malt O Meal and the employees get to take all the mispackaged cereals for cheap, so I got bagsful of the stuff. Best day was when the Mateys got filled with all marshmallows.

Crap, I just bought Malt O Meal's lucky charms and had a nice big bowl this morning and I live in one of the affected states.

Oh, good ol' Northfield. Malt o' Meal will always have a special place in my heart. It really does taste the same as the more expensive stuff. And smelling the sweet, sweet smells (usually like cookies) from the factory at all hours really made that town a lot more fun.

In buffalo we get to smell General Mills, I love it when they cook CoCo puffs.

Subby is an idiot to think they just make hot cereal. They make those hugh bags that hold twice as much cereral for half the cost. I have 4 kids and trust me, it saves a lot of money, besides that their Tootie Frooties are way better then Fruit Loops.

I do believe this is a 4 or 5 day old headline that originally mentioned "salmonella flavor".

Well, this is what we get when we put huge unaccountable companies in charge of our food chain.

I got a phone call last week that had a recorded message about the puffed rice I purchased. The creepy part was I paid for them but used my girlfriend's shoppers club card - yet they still were able to track down my phone number, presumably through credit card records.

I had to listen to it twice. I was like, "Salmonella? In my cereal?"

Meh. My mom used to add cocoa to the original to make a homemade chocolate version. Hated it then. Hate it now. Leave your chocolate out of my malt-o-meal.
