I've been that drunk at that Taco Mac. It's about.. uh.. three blocks from where I live.

I usually just stumble home. Somehow.

Step one: Sing Inner Circle's "Bad Boys" for 30 seconds

Step two: Read first third of article. It should take you about 7 minutes.

Step three: Spend two and a half minutes imagining products and services which you might like to purchase.

Step four: Read second third of article. Again, this should take about 7 minutes.

Step five: Imagine more products and services for two and a half minutes. Also imagine a preview of your local weather and sports which will come up at 11:00

Step six: Read final third of article in approx. seven minutes.

Step seven: Recite the words "132 and Bush, I've got him at gunpoint... Okay, gunpoint, 132 and Bush, coverage code three."

Lawl, gwinnett is such a bizarre county. Some very nice, very wealthy areas, then you have the part of Norcross I lived in when I first moved to the atlanta metro area. I was the only person in a 5 mile radius who spoke english.

/downtown decatur now
//much happier

I first moved to Atlanta in 2000 and lived in Norcross off Indian Trail for 3 months. Wow. I moved to Little 5 Points right after that to get away from the crime. That's how I feel about Gwinnett.

Well, if they're bashing Gwinnett, they're leaving New Jersey alone.

What a winner!

Everybody's somebody in Snellville!

And don't forget how Lawrenceville's claim to fame is being the place Larry Flint got shot.

Still, at least it's a vibrant, multi-ethnic place, unlike the mix of redneck poverty, Old South fundamentalist racism, and bland corporate whoredom that is Cobb county.

nevermind the third story doesn't even say where it happened. not sure why gwinnett got the headline but i'll run with it cause it's a shiathole county and deserves as much negative attention as possible.

Yeah, but I lived in Marietta so when I was around the Big Chicken I wasn't usually lost. The water towers sometimes came in handy when I found out I was going too far north on 85 or something.

What is it that cops would actually DO if there were no alcohol or drugs? We create all of these laws to justify a police force. Some little po-dink town gets SWAT training and an armored Hummer in case Rube wants to grow 5 plants. This shiat is unreal.

I went to court in Doraville, pretty close to Gwinnett, and they have a frickin TANK out back. One of the ones with the battering ram on the front, like the Naked Gun.

Unright: This stuff would never happen if pot was legalized and beer was illegal.

if history has taught us anything it is that you make a given commodity illegal you create a black market and therefore a new niche for the criminal element so in my opinion making any drug illegal creates more crime than it stops by eliminating public intoxication

Nuno311 2008-04-12 06:48:31 PM
I'm in Gwinnett county too.... it's been going downhill the past few years but none of these 'blotter-subjects' really seem that bad.

"Drunk people in your county? It's more likely than you think".

sheesh

I've been in Buford for 14 years. They finally have built something here I agree with. A "Triple Play" sports bar within walking distance through woods & across a creek. Or I can ride my 4 wheeler to the bar.
Grand Opening is next Friday. Anybody been to a "Triple Play" sports bar? Any good?

Sure they do. Just like every other town with 5 members of the force. Get some free Gov money and show 'em how far you are willing to go to protect freedom and our snowflakes. Funny how military equipment filters down to civil ranks.

Next Friday huh? I'll keep the AJC on refresh so I can be the first to submit the story to Fark. Come on... heavy drinking, short cut through the woods, across a creek on a four wheeler. Oh yeah, my approved link count is going up by one next week!

/Seriously, be safe and have a good time... I don't need another approved link

Good lord.

I live off Abbotts Bridge, just across the Fulton County line...

I love it when your COUNTY shows up on an international forum..

*sigh*

Yah...I've been to that Taco mac. Sheeeit.

Hit the Renn. Fest this morning too.. not a bad time.
Traffic up 85 sucked though.. some paving deal.

At least it's not Detroit.

And...YOU'LL NEVER SHUT DOWN THE REAL RAPMASTER 2000

(Sorry, couldn't help it, I wrote a program called Rapmaster for Macintosh in about 1991 or something.)
