This has to be my quickest greenlight ever.

Saw them in 1982 or 1983 in New Haven. It was a great show although I didn't think my ears were ever gonna stop ringer. The funniest thing about that concert was the opening band - Bon Jovi.

Seems like someone switched out their turbo-prop for a jet in the beginning of the clip...

Saw them at the Day on the Green in Oakland with Ratt and Metallica with Cliff Burton). EVERY SINGLE NOTE was the same as the World Wide Live double album, which we listened to like every day for 2 months before the concert. It was a total rip off.

Yeah, I saw em live in Phoenix in 85. They "phoned it in", and they didn't even play "Arizona". WTF??

Rosemont Horizon... oh man, that brings back childhood memories. I was too young to see the Scorpions but I did see Alvin and the Chipmunks and friggin Sesame Street there. Twenty years later my college graduation ceremony (DePaul) was on the same floor where all this magic happened...

//ahh the memories

I post future videos but the links don't work yet.

Can't watch vids from work, but I'm going to assume it's Big City Nights - which I always hear as Big Silly Knights...

Those were the days. Still remember the huge flying V forming behind them as they played.

Still have ringing ears thanks to Iron Maiden and Anthrax in the 80's.

Here's a little get off my lawn moment:

Saw them open for Aerosmith at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME. Hadn't released Blackout yet so Lovedrive was their latest. This was just as Aerosmith was starting to self destruct. Tyler passed out 3 songs into the set, like a tree being felled, CRASH right on the stage. Joe left soon after.

Saw them again on the tour with Bon Jovi as the opening act. Probably the same tour, AuntofDogface

Think the next time was at the Big Sombrero in Tampa for the Monsters of Rock tour with Kingdom Come, Metallica, Dokken and Van Halen.

Saw them one more time in Tampa I think, or maybe Lakeland, I can't remember. They always rocked live, though. Had a good time.

Potent_Potable: Rosemont Horizon.

my friend's band, Flash Bastard, got thrown off the Motley Crue/Scorpions tour the night before they would have played their hometown show.

I was at that show. The mosh pit for Metallica was insane looking. I worked backstage. Great show.

Ditto. 17th row; ears rang for days. Good times.

Before I looked at the comments, that's what I looked up.

I have a pair of glasses just like those ones that dude was wearing on that album. I made them with some forks (duh) and a mig welder. I was the coolest for about 4 weeks.

Say what you want, but World Wide Live was one of the greatest albums to come out of the '80s.
