Bill Gates and George Lucas aside, wouldn't a disproportionate number of billionaires be oil sheiks and mideast Princes? Therefore wouldn't it only be logical that most of their (sometimes multiple) wives have dark hair?

Blonde hair is less common than brunette, even among European descendants. So blondes are actually overrepresented among billionaire spouses.

I have to think that the percentage of blondes on earth is much less than the total percentage of brunettes.

I'm actually *very* partial to brunettes. I think I dated one blonde guy...ever. The rest were brunettes. Most of my girlfriends have a 'type' as well. I wouldn't necessarily call it a gender-centric quality.

Almost (well, not really, but I like to state it like that) hit Bill and Melinda with my car the other week while they were walking around my uncles country club, so I'm really getting a kick out of these replies.

People seem to go easier on blondes and redheads just because of the hair color. It seems to me that when a brunette is attractive, it's because of the face / features, whereas a number of blondes / redheads are in the kill-it-with-fire class...

I've always had a thing for brunettes--the darker the hair the better. Constance Marie, the woman who plays George's wife on the George Lopez show has me staring at the tv like a drooling idiot.

But, that being said, there are plenty of attractive women of all hair colors, including gray. Of the women I personally know, the ones I find most appealing are a blond and a redhead. It really just comes down to the individual woman.

And also, regarding blonds, it's important to remember that most blond women aren't. They dye. It would be interesting to know what percentage of women are actually blond.

I have a redhead sister. She was rather good looking for a redhead but not smokin hot. Only 2 smokin hot redheads I have ever met were female bartenders one of whom made moves on me and I turned her down due to some, of what I saw as, severe personality conficts. Looking back on it I should have tried to hit it like the fist of an angry god then dumped it. Ah well.

I usually will give preference to petite brunettes though. I have a thing for them I just cannot figure out. Too bad I have no money. Anyone wanna loan me a billion?
