The man did get the first 10 years of his life sentence suspended at least.

worlddan: confusing sentence. For which sentence?

I guess a way to avoid writing confusing sentences is to not write sentences at all.

I dunno, sounds like a win-win situation for both of them. He gets ten years away from her, she gets ten years with the toilet seat down.

The appeal is for a divorce or annulment, correct?

Propecia or M'taysha don't seem so bad now, do they?

In my younger substance abusing days, I spent some time in jail and there was a guy in our tank who had proposed to his girlfriend while he was looking at a maximum of 10 years for grand larceny (was not his first conviction). He was also a serious heroin junkie and I think she was too. I imagine she was high when she agreed to marry a guy that was likely going away for 10 (he was Mexican, so I don't think he got any sentencing break from the judge)

Nice enough guy that seemed to really want to live a normal life. I hope he's out and off the smack.

I imagine he can serve both sentences concurrently.

Before the KISS fans chime in I have to ask..

Have you ever seen a person really hit with a marriage?

I mean a human being married with deadly force.

Just wondering...
