That's higher than any estimate I've ever seen. $109M? That's Romney-esque.

Zoinks! [TotalFark] 2008-04-04 04:19:07 PM
You can be worth a lot of money and still be a 'fighter for the little people'. The ultimate example of that would be FDR.

I'm no Hillary fan, but that headline isn't logical.

I'm no fan of the submitter but the headline didn't really say that it was impossible.

$109M is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. That said, she's still a coont. That's not why though.

$109 million and her vendors are still getting stiffed?

Yeah, it was really just a statement that she claims to be something and also has a lot of money.

Indeed. I wonder where it came from. He's been in public service all of his life and she was an attorney for a while.

Um, that can't be right. According to that they made 100 million just last year. It must mean since 2001.

They sure pay a lot in taxes for having that kind of money. I'd be looking at a new CPA.

The Clintons have now made public thirty years of tax returns, a record matched by few people in public service. None of Hillary Clinton's presidential opponents have revealed anything close to this amount of personal financial information."

So her spokesperson wants Obama's tax returns from when he was 16 years old?

For those of you that wonder why people hate them, that statement should give you some insight. They have been asked to release these for months and are now trying to make it look like they're just the most open people involved in this.

I think you are overreacting to this. Who cares about their tax returns, or anyone else's for that matter? Does a candidate's tax returns decide who you are going to vote for?

I'm not sure she would want to publicize any ill-gotten gains, especially by declaring them to the IRS.

Right on the nose. And with Rovian brilliance, they took a weakness and cast it on the opponent. Now it appears as if Obama is hiding something.

They're slimy and ruthless, but they do have some skillz.

Yes. And I bet she and her staff don't even get it. They think this kind of quote is inspiring "They paid taxes and made charitable contributions at a higher rate than taxpayers at their income level."

It's like, "We did the math. You're impressed now. Are you impressed? You ought to be impressed."

I'm sure the delay was due to some setbacks in trying to find copies of Hillary's 1099-INTs from 1981.

I'm also sure nobody gives a damn what the Clintons' tax returns look like pre-1992.

No it doesn't, it looks like she really wants to see THIRTY years of tax returns from a 46 year old. He didn't start making real money until 5-7 years ago.

His tax returns show that they made under $200k 5 years ago.

Jesus, why doesn't everyone just get the fark over it. There are better reasons to hate on these people than nitpicking over these statements. If people have been hounding them for their tax returns then STFU and let them point out they're the only ones held to that standard. Christ on a pogo stick.
