They just confirmed that there is a wild cougar hanging around Milton, WI, not too far away. From genetic tests they believe it is from North Dakota's cougar population and migrated to southern WI. Maybe it kept going.

Yeah, we supposedly had a lion on the loose here. Nobody ever found it but there are several people in the area with licenses or permits to keep them so I figure whoever's lion got out, they found it before anyone else and just took it back home.
