FTFA: The man told the boy he was a former Marine who fought in three wars and had been threatened with knives and bayonets, Bair said.

If that kid had had ANY brains at all, he would have walked away right there.

/love it when dumbasses get their just desserts!

In other news, a former marine will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life for touching a 15-year-old-boy inappropriately.

I freaking love these stories. It's like instant Karma: do someting stupid, get kicked in the jimmy.

I'm all for 84-year-old Marines kicking the crap out of teen thieves (or thieves of any age, for that matter), but:

When the boy stepped closer, the man kicked him in the groin, knocking him to the sidewalk...

He kicked him in the balls, big whoop. Last time I checked, you don't have to be a Marine to do that.

/still cool, though

Sharkface217: No such thing as a former Marine, subby.

Sure there is. That is what those who used to serve in the Marines prefer to be called.

I think you have confused former marine with ex-marine.

honestly, I don't get my panties in a bunch either way.

/former marine

Hmm according to that, he's a former army paratrooper, not a Marine. But that's still very badass. I liked the parting shot to the dumbass kid's teeth.

/you rock, old man!

Ok, so he wasn't a Marine. But he did kick the kid in the teeth while he was writhing on the ground. Awesome!

Next, the follow up where the mother of the teen is suing the marine for assaulting her precious little snow flake...

Badger_Eggs 2008-03-30 06:38:05 PM
As a current Marine I would have to say that 'former marine' is in fact what we call people who got out. 'Ex-Marine' is the one we don't like.

Except, he's neither; he was an Army Staff Sergeant.
Or at least, that's what he said in the video interview.

I met R. Lee Ermey during a celebrity golf tournament in 2002. Even though he's older than my Dad, I had no doubts that he could kick my ass as easily as he could make a cup of coffee. (Nice guy, though, signed an autograph and had his picture taken with me.)

Back to the subject:

If there are any Santa Rosa Farkers out there, be sure to buy this guy a beer or whiskey.

Also:

I'm surprised this took place in Santa Rosa....seems more like something that would have happened in Richmond.

Not many 84-year-olds out there who could kick anything without falling down and breaking a hip.

I especially like the description of the suspect.

Please, people, if you have any information about a 15 or 16 year old male in the Santa Rosa area, please contact police.

/I guess you can at least be on the lookout for someone walking funny
