Obama did improve, nearly getting a strike in one frame, and in the seventh, picking up a spare, giving him a score of 37.

www.cisclan.com

/but he's black and therefore has a huge dong, so that more than makes up for his sucktitude at bowling.
//rarely gets over 100
///glad he's better at politics than he is at bowling
\\he's better at bowling than Hillary is at politics

Obama fanboys sure are whiny. Every day, they have more examples of their hero being wronged somehow.

What happens after the McCain media love-in really kicks in will make you poop your diapers.

Wow - the guy is a campaigning genius. Its awesome that he has so much time between now and the PA primaries. It looks like he's going to go to every factory and school gym in the state.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining about him getting wronged in some way. I'm just pointing out that he's the Miami Dolphins of bowling.

My friend and I call that style of "reporting" Daily Show-itis

George Bush can go: "Should funding be cut on education, the teachers will fail and I take responsibility for schools failing."

Daily Show/Jon Stewart: "George Bush spoke about education today"
*Quick Cut to snippet of footage*
Bush: "I take responsibility for schools failing"

LAUGH HA HA HA.

So tired of this "choose what makes our point, even if it's not the complete sentence" bullshiat.

Bowling down the top of the wall only works in the last frame, dufus.

The_Sponge [TotalFark] 2008-03-30 08:01:09 PM
It's hard to bowl when people are kissing your ass and feet.

But seriously:

My advice to him would be to use an iPod when you're bowling. I did this the last time our company had a bowling event, and my score went up.

/The theme from "Rocky" got me into the zone.

Descartes 2008-03-30 08:05:06 PM
37?
How the hell can anyone only score a 37?

"Nearly a strike" is probably 9 pins and he got a spare in another frame, for a total of at least 19 in two frames meaning he only got 18 pins in the remaining 8 frames. That's a lot of fail.

The Daily Show is a comedy. Taking statements out of their context and putting them into another light which distorts or changes the meaning of them is a comedic element and always has been.

CNN is a news outlet. Taking factual quotes, misrepresenting them, taking them out of context and changing the meaning through implication is phony journalism and unprofessional.

There is a difference.

There's just something about that big black ball knocking down all those self righteous white pins..

Today CNN put up a show titled "Vast Media Conspiracy" to laugh away any notion that media is biased or is picking sides in the election campaign.

Just how incredibly smug and self-centered these news organizations have become. No one, repeat no one, except poorly educated and old believes ONE farking word these big news organizatiosns say. NOT ONE FARKING WORD!

That is on the verge of a terrible woman score! Forget Pastor Wright, forget the fact that hee used to be Mooslim (even though he was not), forget the fact that there are improprieties with the whole Rezko story, forget the fact that he is a Chicago politician...the man is left handed! We've had enough lefty presidents in the recent past, I will not have another one! Especially one who can't get over a 37 after 7 frames. Perhaps they shoul duse the bumpers!

No left handed mooslim presidents!

Oh I know, just tired of the people who in conversation will use the Daily Show segments in Political Discussion, verbatim. As in, "Oh yeah, did you see that speech Bush did? it was on the daily show.. he said he failed in education."

That's what's annoying about Daily Show-itis. People so used to using it as fact

Oh and I'm the subby and I knew I shoulda taken a screencap of the page, as it was "Ticker: Obama - I was terrible"

The Daily Show mixes real political commentary in with its obvious comedic jabs. The problem arises when some of the most credible journalistic commentary on the news networks is coming from the comedy networks.

Yes CNN did have headline "I was terrible" earlier today. I clicked on the story wondering what that was about and laughed at the bowling score. Later I noticed the headline was updated to include "bowling." I'm quite sure the folks that blog on Obama's site inundated CNN with that gaffe as they are convinced the MSM is anti-Obama. Whether or not that is true those farks that post on Obama's blog spend the first 20 or so posts for each thread actually congratulating each other for being "first." That is the ultimate fail in my book.
