while I disagree with the trolls, this is much like the Rev Wright. A non story that should not be allowed to distract from the real issues, such as the economy, iraq, and the rest of the actual issues. These are the distractions that Obama was talking about.

I think there's a bit more validity to this. It's not like she's been a huge part of Hillary's life, she's just the one in charge of her finances, something she's been found incapable of doing (have you seen Hillary's finances?) and her record in the private sector is obviously just as bad. This is the kind of thing Hillary should be nipping in the bud with a lot of backround screening, but instead almost all her major staff is subject to similar sorts of scandals. It's like the Bush administration, let's make that guy that hates the UN their new ambassador!

How she has run her campaigns, and how she's actually acted for her State says a great deal about her. And it's not real good.

I'm not exactly on board with the Hate Train that she's been saddled with, but she has a fair number of financial skeletons in that closet, and ties to some folks with some even larger ones--that says a bit about who you will be doing business with, and who you run with. Not so much guilt by association, but certainly an illustration of her character.

Her record, that speaks for itself--but who she surrounds herself with, and their tactics and methods, that says often even more.

I remember seeing a clip from early in the campaign - Penn and his counterparts from the Edwards and Obama campaigns were discussing the race. The Obama guy and Edwards guy were sticking to the issues and Penn brings up Obama's youthful drug use from out of nowhere. To his credit, the Edwards guy called him on it. I think that was the point that I started disliking Hillary. It seems she makes poor choices on who advises her.
