Some police groups complain there are so many specialty plates they confuse crime witnesses.

SCUBA_Archer almost all the Southern states have popular NASCAR specialty plates in production-quite a few have #3 tribute plates, which technically only North Carolina should have but there's money to be made

If only there was a place people could go to view different plates, maybe some sort of electronic gathering place where actual pictures of each plate could be seen. Perhaps you could enter a word or phrase and have the system "search" for a matching plate. And when you find it, you could send some sort of electronic message to order that plate. Maybe in the future Florida will have this.

holy crap. florida already has 100 specialty plates. i guess this is the only way the government can raise revenue since all taxes are evil. why just the other day, a member of the legislature was comparing the crushing burden of taxes faced by people in florida to communism! I mean, we don't have an income tax while the sales tax is a whopping 6% with lots of exemptions. Oh, the humanity!
