A very small group of people appreciate the Boss. I was born too late to, I guess. College kids today still listen to the Beetles, Floyd, The Doors, Zeplin, Metallica, GnR, The Stones and will continue to, but I doubt 20 years from now anyone in college will know who Springsteen is. He's just not as good or iconic as he thinks he is.

Although I've never been a huge Springsteen fan, I have to respect what he did in the early days - it was an indescribable and undeniable magic. On stage at that time, he was as good as anyone before or since. You don't have to be a fan to recognize that quality in an artist.
