The original song even has the word 'shot' in it...And you STILL screwed it up. Way to go, dumbass.

This guy has turned into the male B. Spears. He well could be dead soon.

Subby gives rhyming a bad name.

Drunk driving with two kids in the car...classy.

When I was maybe 9-10, a family friend had a bit to drink. He was actually driving fine though, until he let me steer...oops...Things got a little swervy at that point, and he got pulled over. DUI. My bad...Okay, his bad, but he was driving fine before he made the brilliant decision to let the kid steer.

The song lyric headline has officially become annoying.

Hey, check out what I did:

(sung to the tune of Livin' On A Prayer)

Oh, he's drinking some alcohol
Oh, living in prison
Take my hand
We'll drink a beer
Oh, getting a DUI

/still better than smitty's headline

No, no it's not.

In an attempt to give the thread at least one attempt that rhymes and fits the song's meter:

Shot down the throat
The beer's to blame
Next time, stay in your own lane
You've had your fun, now you'll be arraigned
You give rock a bad name

/I'm sorry, Fark
//"love" counts as two syllables because of how much they stretch it out
///it should, anyway
////Bon Jovi isn't that bad...

JMan_NC 2008-03-26 07:27:50 PM
Hmm. My headline wasn't really funny but even so was better than this. ;)

sven7m 2008-03-26 07:28:21 PM
A shot in the dark
and smitty's to blame
His headline is very lame

AnnoyingKidNextDoor 2008-03-26 07:46:03 PM
Maybe smitty didn't need to rhyme?

berklee 2008-03-26 07:52:36 PM
I refuse to think of his musical experience. To me, he'll always be "that guy who was boning Heather Locklear".

/Cher too, but we won't talk about that.

markiedog 2008-03-26 08:02:19 PM
+++ He called Johnny, who used to work on the docks, to come bail him out. Gina was not happy!

purple helmet 2008-03-26 08:02:24 PM
It's all the same.
And the DUI was lame
Like every day
Richie got wasted today.

Sometimes you tell the day
by the bottle that you drink
When you're sitting in the cell
all you do is think.

I'm a boozer
In a pretentious Hummer I ride
drinking and driving
Soon to be dead now alive.

OK, I apologize too.

spacebar 2008-03-26 09:12:56 PM
I'm a boozer
In a Hummer I ride
And I'm wanted
for DUI

Yes I'm loser
got a flask by my side
And I'm busted
for DUI

//failed

I was hoping against hope it was the singer. Jon what's-his-name.

I have a friend who is an incredible guitar player who does some occasional studio work. Last year he flew out to LA to do some work on some project that Richie Sambora was involved in. So when my friend gets back he says he met Richie Sambora and I say "No sh*t, what's he like?" my friend says "Drunk".

The man has nailed Denise Richards and Heather Locklear. That's a pretty impressive career right there.

When Jon hosted SNL, Richie screwed up a little bit they did for the monologue (cuz he was obviously piss loaded drunk), and when they took the stage for a quick song you could tell Bon Jovi was pissed...didn't even glance in his direction. Richie was all posing and grinning and looking over for a response but Jon was just staring straight ahead.

FeloniousQ 2008-03-27 09:21:35 AM
i saw them in concert last weekend and he was surprisingly good...i had no idea he was that good a guitar player.

darch 2008-03-27 11:14:40 AM
Richie's been a mess since his marriage ended and his dad died. A rough couple of years for sure, but still doesn't give you a pass to become a TOTAL boneheaded drunk.

Wacky? Check
Old? Check
Irrelevant? Maybe you ought to give Lost Highway a listen. It's surprisingly good. They still sell out concerts and sell a crapload of CDs.

The only CD's that sell well are the 80's ones. And for a very good reason.

Lost Highway's first few tracks were OK, but after that, I couldn't stomach it.

Really?

The album went to number one in 15 countries and was number one around the world for one week. It went to number two in the USA and UK. It went to number one in Australia.

I'm pretty sure that constitutes "selling well."

/still disappointed about the headline sucking
