My wife's uncle was killed when a drunk driver t-boned him while blowing off a red light and going through the intersection.

The drunk driver was a cop.

Who was on duty.

And in his police cruiser.

When the other cops came, many of the witnesses said that you could smell a strong oder of alcohol on the cop and in his car. The witnesses wanted him breath tested. When the cops ignored the people, the crowd started to get out of hand. Finally, they put the drunk cop in another car and drove him back to the station.

All accounts and mentions of the cop smelling like alcohol were deleted from the official witness statements. The cop in question was never tested.

Sounds like he had the day off. He only went on duty when a second officer asked him to administer the breath test, and later to make an arrest.

Then he made racial comments about some Aboriginal gentlemen, and they kicked the crap out of him.

You know, they do have the Internets in other parts of the world. Not every news story is from America.

Well, they were most likely cheap Busch or something, so you really need 18 to get any kind of buzz.

People don't understand. Cops are angels. I don't mean that in the cute way. They are allowed to do whatever they please, because they are working for you. You asked them to protect you. They have a tough job. When a cop dies, people react the same way as if an angel had died. To many people, an angel really did die.

Cops can help you, change your life, end your life, they can take you to hell (jail) and in jail, the good angel becomes the bad angel, or devils. They are there to punish you. Everything that you fear will be used against you for proper penance. Heaven and hell are right now.
