Oh happy day!

It's already out there for the resourceful.

After several listens I can tell you it's excellent. Track 4, 6, and 8 are standouts for me.

I've heard it too, very good. I also have it preordered from cduniverse after Amazon canceled my preorder. It appears to only be an 'import' so I'm expecting my cduniverse order to be killed too.

I think it'll divide their audience pretty well. Some will like it, some will hate it.

It's definitely a grower for me. Wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first, but I like it now. If you like Suicide or the Silver Apples, you'll like it. Not sure what the hell they were thinking with Deep Water, though.

Well it's about goddamn time!

Forty Pounds? How much is that in dollars, again? Why am I reminded of Vincent Vega asking "That's a milkshake, right? That's ice cream and milk?"

I never understood what all the hype was about. The s/t album was alright, and Dummy was a good listen, but it was always apparent the band just wouldn't outlive the 90's.

I would like to comment on how much I really like Portishead....

but that would of course make me a "music snob" or "hipster" or "elitist" whatever.

Yawn.

And I hate to sound like some kind of cheapskate, but for that money, can I have a farkin title, please?

Not 11 years... they only started on it a few years ago, so don't think it's some kind of Chinese Democracy or anyhting :)

About $80. That's for the box set, I doubt the album proper is going to be more than $18.

Hilarious.

I'm loving Third. Will go and see them live this year.

Fantastic band...fantastic new album. It's nice to see bands grow and not do the same stuff over and over again.

Third is awesome. That is all.

I go away satisfied.
